I'm nothing if not objective. I never bet SF unless I feel it's a good spot/value. I'm emotionally invested enough with this team...don't need to force action. Not thrilled at all with the line for Game 1. Would have felt much more comfortable with SF -140. I can assure you I won't touch that line. Will wait and back SF as underdogs at GA Ballpark. Will also back SF series price if they lose game 1.

Having 2 weeks of meaningless games is not helpful. 2010 SF clinched the final weekend similar to OAK this year. Something to be said for that momentum.

Lots of unknowns as well. Lince has been assured a start. Who knows what to expect. Will they start Zito or Vogelsong in the 4th game? Should be Vogelsong. Could be Zito. How will the bullpen by committee work out? Lots of pressure on Bochy there.

All that said I'm still not sold on Cincy and Dusty's ability to win this series. Cueto has been roughed up before at ATT park. Arroyo is average at best. Broxton could implode. The 102 mph throwing lefty is untested in this environment.

Well said. Series seems like a total toss-up to me. Reds should win "on paper," but there's their playoff history and the Baker factor. All of the intangibles and keys to winning in the postseason are in SF's corner, even though the Giants aren't nearly as talented overall.
