Monday night's controversial touchdown call that gave the Seattle Seahawks the victory over the Green Bay Packers had an immediate impact for gamblers.

If you include offshore, it's gotta be WAY more than that. Changed both spread and ML.

Corruption always was seeded deep within in the NFL,
The only difference now is the inexperienced referees being able to control the "FLOW".........
Awesome, thanks bud. Heard it on my way to work, didn't look for a link.

Kind of amazing to see that kind of number world wide, on an American sport. Granted, NFL/MNF/Packers means a huge public audience - but I expect those kind of numbers associated with Soccer.

With these kind of numbers, how hard it is to believe that these new refs cannot be involved in some fraudulent activities?

Absolutely.
Schmucks literally dragged off the street.
A guy fired from a lingerie league? C'mon - a wise guy getting a hold of one of these guys, or a whole crew is not even remotely far fetched.

I honestly think they're just clueless. They're not sharp enough to affect the outcome.

More estimates are coming in... They believe if you include Vegas, Offshore books, and worldwide... One play caused a 300 million swing. It's absolutely incredible.

The media, that play, and money on one game... I believe the USA will look into gambling. A form of legalizing it. That play has been on MSNBC, Fox News, Detroit radio... (and this one show never talks about sports). Who isn't talking about it? This might be a blessing in disguise to legalize sports wagering in the USA.

They know they wont last here long enough given the circumstances, why not make a few bucks?
Due to the TD controversy, People are forgetting the phantom calls on the last few drives which helped them reach the endzone but too bad they could not capitalize even after getting 8 tries in red zone.

I'm sure the next thing we'll hear will be the full background history on the ref who called it a TD and the black ref who did not call it a TD....Would not want to be either of those guys.
