I can't see him lasting more then 5 innings. the cards long relievers are not that good......

But with the cold and the wind. It can't see a ton of runnage

wow did not know that, wish I could get season tickets. I am going to try to make it up to a game when they play houston, next sunday. Its amazing that we are going to score more runs,and home-runs then last year. And people thought we would blow up without prince. If anything it was k-rod and axford that blew this season if we end up not making the playoffs. All those games those two guys blew early on in the season, just imagine if we won those. Not to mention how our starting pitching staff sucked early too, and loosing gonzo at ss and gamel at 1b.

But things look great for the brewers ahead which I think is the point we should take away from this season. Everyone on this offense is coming back, Rickie Weeks finally looks 100 percent healthy, he had to be playing through so much pain this year with that ankel injury. That guy is one tough mofo. It wouldn't shock me to see if we traded Hart or Gomey. Gomez first year in arby, and having one of his best seasons ever. Hart can only play 1b now, and with gamel coming back there is no place for him. And we could use anther quality arm.

But things are finally coming together for us with our young pitching staff. Willy Perlta looks like a future ace, Fiers looks like a quality innings eater, Gallardo finally living up to his billing the last 10 games, and Yungman should be competing for a spot in the rotation in spring training.

If this brewers team does make the play-offs, Ron Roenkie deserves some serious consideration for manager of the year
