I did table tennis live games for a long time. A couple sites actually had glitches where you could win hundreds of dollars by wagering on games that ended before the site caught it. They still glitch, but the sites have caught on and now cancel your wagers. But one time I went from $500 to $5k in a few days doing that.

But it goes up and down. You can go on streaks and win a lot…but if eventually goes the other way. I usually research a match and try and wager on underdogs who don’t get swept by their opponent. I’ll double down if they lose the first game. Sometimes I’ll take solid favorites who lose their first game. I’ve had some good runs, but also some bad ones.
