This is closer to correct. Your best scenario is a 44-47 game total with Clemson covering and you break 4th place tie break for 4th. Any total outside of that is a 5th-6th placing for you due to losing both tie-breaks or splitting the prize. So best scenario 4th (total 44-47) and worst is 6th (if Clemson covers and you lose tie-breaks too).
You can safely hedge on the 20k pts based on this and if you win a higher placement, great.
