Diggity was one of the first people I met here.
We met at the poker tables. We were fierce competitors, each of us trying to kill the other. It was all about the points, man. Points are everything. We battled hard, would show bluffs to drive the other man crazy. It was an absolute war on the felt.
A lot of sleepless nights, Smokey.
That kind of ferocious battling brings men together. The respect we had for one another after 18 hours of play, for a month straight, you cannot understand. Lesser men would have died during those arduous wars.
The battle scars will last a lifetime.
