    Chargers to win 2k
I feel like the road team is the play here tonight for several reasons. With Gates being healthy and the newly acquired Meachem and Royal with Floyd out wide, I see Rivers torching the Raiders secondary tonigh. Ronnie Brown is more than capable of taking over for Mathews tonight as he should have a big game. The main reason I feel like Chargers is a strong play tonight is because an experienced coach is going up against a rookie coach, you can't fade that in game one in my personal opinion. New defensive coordinator as well for the Raiders, brand new coaching staff against a prolific offense that Chargers will bring should be a huge concern for Raiders backers. Now, Chargers also have a new defensive coordinator but I think their game plan on defense is rather simple. They will try to stop McFadden, if they can contain him just a little but I feel like Carson Palmer will eventually make a mistake. I expect this to be a back and forth game, I have to take experience in a game opener with the better qb. The Dline for the Raiders is tough but I feel like the Chargers coaching staff will call plays to accommodate their weak Oline tonight. BOL to all Chargers backers, I will post up a pic of my ticket after I place my wager.

Richard Seymour is not 100% still nursing a knee injury, Jacoby Ford and Denarius Moore out tonight. Palmer needs to find some play makers if he wants to keep up in this one because McFadden can't do it by himself.

I am glad this isn't one of your huge plays because I am on the other side. I really think Rivers will have trouble finding time to hit his wide receivers The O line for the chargers will really struggle tonight, so I don't see Rivers having time for the long ball. I also am not afraid of ronnie brown in the screen game. I think McFadden will probably go off, but even if he doesn't I think Palmer will be much improved from last year and see Heyward Bey being a huge playmaker tonight. Finally home field advantage. Good luck Capper.

I like this. The past two years, chargers have always been favorites against Oakland, and somehow Oakland beats them, despite previous SD clearly being the better team the past two years. Here, Oakland is better, and it's a pk. I smell SD win.

That's an interesting way of looking at it, I must agree! Lets get this.

That's where I believe coaching will make a huge difference, Rivers will make big plays tonight even with a weak Oline. Ronnie Brown is going to have a big game, Raiders are going to be worried about giving up the big plays especially with a new defensive coordinator calling conservatively. I'll take my chances with Palmer on the other end, the game is in his hands because Chargers new defensive coordinator made it pretty clear his number one priority is containing McFadden. GL to you, at least one of us will win!

I was going to layoff this game as well, but I have to take the experienced coach in game one of the season against the rookie coaching staff of the Raiders. The value in playing them was too great imo.

Everyone loses, there's no way you cap at 100% in this industry. All you can do is research accordingly and hope for the best!

Yeah either way this game should be entertaining. We will see if the rookie coach can handle the big stage on Monday night. Good luck.

Two great looks at the endzone with no success, those opportunities are critical when playing on the road.

Curtis Brinkley is the best Chargers RB not named Ryan Matthews. Time to stop living in the past and get Ronnie Brown off the field if they know whats best for them.

Ronnie Brown doesn't fit into their offensive scheme from what I'm observing, time to change things up for sure.

Those screen passes are there for them all day, if we can establish even a sub par running game Rivers would dissect the Raiders secondary.

Only 4 carries for 3 yards but they easily could have gone for -3 yards. He's been blasted a few times and popped right back up.

Raiders front 7 is their strength on D. Now that they've established the short pass game they should open it up and play to their strengths.

They need to hold them to a fg attempt here to close out the half
