A word of advice never bet any total 6.5 and below as UNDER. Look at last year for example

Here's what a couple teams preseason win totals were set at

SF 5.5
Cincy 4.5
Buffalo 5.5
Carolina 4.5

And these teams all went over. stay away from these low lines.

It's a brutal schedule, but it's an 8-8 league. If you can write 11 losses in ink, go for it.

But I can see them sweeping Indy, splitting TENN, splitting the AFC East and some other upset (maybe @Minny).

As a fan of the Texans, the Jags are always scrappy despite their circumstance.... wouldn't surprise me if they go over ....

Colts are also at 5.5 so that could be 2 wins right there....

They could possibly win against the vikings, the colts, the titans, the bengals, the raiders, the dolphins, the bills, or the jets. They play some of those teams twice, so winning 6 games is not out of reach at all. I don't think the jaguars are very good, but even bad teams win 6 games in the NFL.

Jags D will surprise people this year. If their offense can make some strides, which would be hard not to since they were spectacularly terrible last season (and still won 5 games) then 6 games could be very, very doable

The public perception is underestimating the Jags, not overestimating them. From what I've seen, most who know the ins and outs of the roster and organization agree the Jags are better than this perception. Only possible value I could see in this line is the over, but not sure if it's strong enough to be a bet. I'd avoid the under

(fwiw I'm a huge Jags follower and went 10-3 on the jax games I bet last season, obviously a microscopically tiny sample size so take that with a grain of salt)

There's a very good chance that they can start 2-2 or even 3-1. They'll probably be in the bottom 5 or 7 for the year, but there looks like a lot of winnable games on that schedule. I'd say 5.5 games is a very sharp line, I was thinking 5-11 myself, but I wouldn't be shocked if they won 6.

They played a great 1st half against Chicago. Went into halftime tied but then played like shit in the second half.
