Where does this myth come from that you have to go to Vegas to make a big bet?? Do you understand that some casinos in Vegas won't even take a $200 sportsbet?? Even the bigger books have a 5K limit on football which is considerably bigger than what they'll take in the other major sports. A couple books will take a 10K bet but that's it.

You will be hard pressed to find a single book in Las Vegas outside of the LV Hilton that will even take a 1k 6 teamer. Good luck finding 29 others to do the same??

Obviously, you don't bet in Vegas. There isn't a book in this city that will take a 20K 6 teamer....let alone a 30k 6 teamer. If it hits it is a 100% guarantee that the sportbook manager will be fired before he even has time to pay the bet off. Upper management would NEVER allow this bet....NEVER!! I remember at the MGM needing to see the manager to make a 3k Ranger baseball bet. Over 3 team parlay its 500. They love parlay action as much as proposition bets but Vegas aint the same as before the real state slump. Binions down town has 2500.00 max table bet. You really think Vinny the local booky expects to pay out after taking maybee 5k of that action. Pitiful Vegas turned into pussies were a guy cant get the action he seeks. But its true. Casinos went corporate and dont want no cowboy shit messing with thier quarterly profit line. I would really like to know how much he was able to get down on this 6 teamer.

Well, I happen to work @ the MGM in LV & can give you a 100% guarantee that not only does the teller have to get authorization from the on duty sportbook manager for any bets of $1,000 & UP but the on duty sportbook manager also needs authorization from upper management on bets of $2,500 & UP & this can sometimes take as long as 5 minutes. And the MGM sportbook manager is already in hot water for taking on a 999-1 bet for $250 pn the Cards in the WS.

On a different note why would you in your right mind bet baseball @ the MGM?? They are on a .20c line for bases which is strait robbery. They don't want action & quite honestly they don't deserve it either. It is a fukkin joke. Las Vegas sportbooks are strait puzzies!!!
