Chargers played this one almost identical to the earlier meet-up in San Diego, but w/out the turnovers. Bad loss for the Broncos last home game of the regular season as this defeat provides opponents good practice film come play-off time. Granted, this was a Welker-less short week, and DEN will probably rout HOU and OAK on the road next two weeks in pursuit of post-season home-field.

Full game line opened at 3.5, which in my opinion indicates a win by at least 4 most of the time. Now that Griffin has been chastised by his own ball club, Vegas kneejerks the line to 7 (7.5 offshore). As if RGIII would’ve have made the Redskins competitive to begin with. Enter QB Cousins. And now there’s supposed value ‘cause he’s Kirk Cousins? Most would agree that its gonna take more than a QB change to get the Redskins back in the win column.

Of the 10 WAS loses this season: 1 game by 6 pts, 3 games by 7 pts, the rest by 8 or more pts.

ATL is not all that, but they’re still playing in Atlanta, and they shown a little spark last few games. Sorry, but the latest stats fav the Falcons.

After last week’s game vs. Seattle, the talk has been a potential 9er letdown in Tampa.
SF is traveling east to Florida for an early game, so will that add to the setback?

“Are the Indianapolis Colts Super Bowl contenders?” states a pre-playoff headline. The Colts, after all, did beat three teams that would eventually finish with 12 wins: the 9ers (week 3), the ‘Hawks (week 5), and the Broncs (week 7). But when Reggie Wayne went down, the Colts lost some spark. Granted, they did hand KC a loss a few weeks ago, but I’m willing to “bet” Andy Reid will have the Chiefs good to go this time around.
