Saints Ran Up The Score Last Night?
I'm reading that on a lot of forums. Honestly, to me, it looked liked they were pulling punches and has it on cruise control after the 1st quarter. What are they supposed to do -- just take a knee for the rest of the game?

They could have won that game 100-7 had they chosen too.

I'm thinking either the Tide or LSU could beat Indy.

it was a little excessive, they were still passing up by 35+, but it's the NFL. stop them or get wooped. no reason a team should ever give up 62 points as professionals

I will never understand this mind set in professional sports. The owners spend millions of dollars to their offense to score, and millions of dollars to their defense to stop the other offense from scoring. If they aren't trying to score on every drive then the offense is not doing what they are paid to do. If the defense gives up 62 points in a game then they didn't do their job.

They are paid to play! This isn't AYF football or High School they are professionals act like it and the score won't get "run up" on them.

Live betting had Colts +38.5....so what do you think people will do when they see this??? That's why Saints kept on pounding...cause someone said don't let the big fat foot off the pedal. And let me see...what was the final score again??? Did that 38.5 hold???

Couldn't of said it better myself. These guys played like they didn't even care anymore because they were getting paid regardless.

I always hear people saying that Football is a mans game.

Therefore, when its good ride with it.

But if its bad, and it wa bad last night for the colts. Be ready to deal with it. Don't cry that the other team ran up the score.

Also imagine being a paying customer at that game IF the Saints had taken a knee out of sympathy. You would be very pissed off.
