I am 3-2 betting on philly... week 1 verse Stl (huge), vs atl (loss), vs sf (loss), vs Dal (win) and vs NY on the ml (win)... I wont lie though, being a fan has kept me from winning money. If I didnt let my heart come into factor, I would have pounded the Pats this past week... I was at the game though, and just couldnt do it to myself. Only other bet I have had on the eagles was my +25000 on the eagles winning the NFC. Just $10 to win $2500 though.. Im just hoping for a miracle for them to make the playoffs.. if so, I can immediately hedge..

Football is a team sport more then any other... as seen, it took this teams new pieces a long time to come together, esp under a new DC with a new system. With a full season and full offseason under their belts, all the pieces should be much better next yr esp after they address the lb problem. Who knows though....Looking for the saints to take care of business the next few weeks to cash a nice ticket. BOL

All they needed was one more win... him getting knocked in the 4th cost them two wins, and they lost two games where he didnt play at all.. i didnt have to learn the hard way.. i saw the potential this team has as they closed out the year. they werent good enough to win it all this yr, so its ok how it ended up. This team is very close though, and you know that. With the guidance of a new DC next yr to go along with some new pieces to fill the weak spots, this team will be a top 5 team going into next season as a lot of peoples sb pick

Look you discount the games he played terrible and then point to a few goods at the end. The eagles were a bad team this year period. They looked "better" towards the end , but make no mistake about it , they were a bad team. You really sound like "Joe public" here. I would rank the packers , saints , pats , pitt , half all better than them going into next season. This team still has major flaws. I , along with many pointed out the fact that they were very suspect in their secondary , lb's and o-line. When you spread this team out all those great corners turn into fs's. Which obviously cancels out the skill they bring to the game. There were a lot of times where the offensive line looked out synic and had trouble defending the a gap blitz. You also have major issues up the middle on the other side of the ball as well. The lb'ING crew in genral was bad. These are major issues that will need to be fixed. If not they go 8-8/9-7. This year that record might have given them a shot or even won the division for them. This year we saw some really bad football though. I mean the best team in the league is as beatable advantage imo. Plus your counting on a QB that can't stay healthy , ever. The guy is almost certain to miss 2-4 games. Another huge problem. Not to mention this year was an anomaly for him. I'll admit he's much better than guy who played for atl years ago , but last year was his first and only year as an elite QB. The fact that he's never been consistent as a "true" QB can't be forgotten or denied.
