The eagles play ariz with no qb next week (think we can call that a win) and then play the nyg the following week... if eagles with those two games, they will be 5-5. The giants play sf this week, which the could easily lose.. if they lose this, then lose to philly, they are only one game up in the division. Then, have you seen their schedule? they have to play NO, GB, NYJ and dallas... so even if they dont lose to SF, gl getting through those 4 games... in all, they have one easy game left on their schedule, vs washington.. other then that, they have 7 very tough games. AT BEST, they go 3-4 in those 7 games, which would put them at 10-6 overall.

If philly beats ariz this week and then NY the following week, they will be 5-5, with 3 cake games left (wash, miami, seattle), and then 3 tough games vs ne, nyj and dallas. If philly can win 2 of 3 vs ne, nyj and dallas (nyj and ne at home), they will also finish 10-6.

Crazy? maybe... but as bad as philly has been this year, the schedule is extremely favorable for them and where their division rivals are concerned.

As bad as they have been... at 3-5, crazy enough the schedule stacks up to actually give them a chance.

The bears on the other hand, have absolutely 0 % chance to win their division. They will be in a fight with TB and det (who is currently ahead of them) for that last wildcard spot... I think its safe to say at this point Atl/NO will take the other one.

The difference is that all 5 of philly's losses have been to playoff caliber teams... the 4 cake wins left on the schedule are vs miami, washington, seattle and ariz... this teams are as bad as it gets, and dont even compare to the teams that philly lost to where they were favored by 9 or more...

The eagles built there team around the fact that they would be able to stop the pass, even i thought they would stop the pass, but cutler went right at roders cromartie and samuel all night and beat them.

really? are the rams and cardinals top 3 in the nfl in offense? yea this team sucks on defense right now, but nowhere near as bad as stl or ariz... But the mistakes on this team can be fixed (not saying they will be)... where as the mistakes on bad teams like stl or ariz, cant be.. Yes, the eagles have made MANY braindead mistakes this season thus far, and I am the first one to tell you that...

BUT, those mistakes are what is costing them wins...

If you have actually watched this team play, you will have noticed that they have completely dominated 12 out of 16 quarters this season. With Vick in, they have dominated 12 out of 14...
This is not the 1-3 Panthers who are just outmatched every week, this team is losing bc of stupid decisions... I personally have watched every game this team has played since Reid has been coach, and can personally guarantee that this team will be fine and fix these head mistakes that are costing them games. If this team can stay relatively healthy, they will be talked about amount the elite again within the next month. Obviously, just like with any team, there will still be issues. The linebackers and offensive line will not be perfect, but this team will win in spite of those issues, as long as the braindead mistakes are semi fixed....which if history shows us anything, Andy Reid will cure...

New England has the worst D in football and GB's D is pretty bad this yr as well... Teams in this day in age can be good in spite of huge weaknesses like that... Im not saying the Eagles be as good as those teams, but they will definitely be in the running when it counts and will be talked about among the elite again.
