I wanted 6.5, but I'll risk the push at plus odds. With the Ravens off the bye and Houston missing Johnson, I expect the Ravens to win this by 10. I have the Ravens set at -9.5, so I'll take a shot with them for 1x. Good luck.

Well...the good news is that we beat both closers on the Dal/NE and NO/TB overs, but the bad news is that there was late action on the under on both plays. At Pinny, Dal/NE went from 55.5 to 54.5 with a juiced under and NO/TB went from 50 to 49.5.

I'm still ultra-confident in both plays. With Dez Bryant and Miles Austin both healthy and NE playing at home, I expect NE to score into the 30's and Dallas to hit at least 24. In other game, I know the whole world likes the Saints, and I like them too at around -4, but I don't think they romp TB. I like that game to be competitive, much like the Giants/Buffalo game. New Orleans will get 28, but I think we see TB get 23 to 24 points as well.

Turnovers and penalties just killing scoring chances. Twice now, each team has given it up around it's own 30 yard line or committed killer penalties.

However, both of these teams can score quick. Let's see what happens in the 2q...if we can get three touchdowns, we'll be right in it.

Exactly...bend but don't break. They didn't break because on most possessions within the other team's thirty yard line, a turnover ensued.

That is the principle behind a cover 2 bend but don't break defense. The goal is to force a team to go down the field via a large number of plays, with the thinking being that over the course of those plays a mistake will be made which keeps the offense from scoring. In this case, those mistakes have been turnovers within the other team's 30 yard line.

Today's defensive display by the Cowboys is what I expected from them when they played the Lions and we took the under. Unfortunately, in that game, they bent and they broke

Sean Payton should be fired for not taking the field goal. You take the field goal and then kick. There is three minutes left. All you do is stop them and then all you need is another fg to force OT. That is coaching 101. WTF...
