Speaking of the Bears, only Jerry Angelo could somehow make the worst offensive in the league even worse the next year. They look significantly worse, which is incredible. If Jerry Angelo was fired today, no way he would have a job anywhere else.

When it comes to the Bears, I always take a very pessimistic/prove me wrong view. I didn't think they would be very good, and I am a much bigger baseball and hockey fan anyways. Lots of people around here that live and die by the Bears are so upset right now, I have no idea how you could not have seen this coming.

off-topic: But I cannot wait till I finish catching up with breaking bad. I am watching 2-3 episodes a night. Anytime I start to see anything written about the show I scroll down very quickly.

I just made it through season 2 of breaking bad! Friggin awesome!

I would disagree about the Giants game. If you would have told me we would have at least 34 points with the score being tied at halftime -- which means each team still has strong incentive to score in the 2h -- I would have put 5x more on the play. I'm not going to complain about needing 2tds and a fg to cash. Now, let's just hope they get it done...

As far as the Eagles game, that one is a bit disappointing in that the Eagles had two trips at the Washington 5 yard line and only came away with 6 points. In addition, Washington just settled for a fg on their only decent drive of the game. Still, we could be in worse shape than 23 points in that game. So I'll take it and hope we can get a few big plays in the 2h to help us get four td's.

I'm going to stick with the over and just hope we see a shootout. I sort of have an underdog lean on the Cowboys at +7, but I'm not going to fade NE at home.

You know me...I'm the first one to fade our Bears. However, I actually have a small lean on them to win this one if I can get a good number. Now, that is completely dependent on Peppers playing. I think they may just be saying that he's doubtful to screw with Minny the same way they did with Favre last year. I think that Minny number at 20 might be pretty sharp. I would say 50/50.

I'm looking at the over in that one. Do you worry at all about the Raiders having a letdown this week after last week's huge emotional win? -7 seems a lot. McCoy always seems to keep the Browns in games and they get a healthy Hillis back today...

Yeah, me too. The main thing holding me back is that I didn't bet it earlier in the week at 44 and now it's at 45. As you know, the 44 is one of the more important key totals numbers in NFL...in fact, that's the third most common final score behind 41 and 37. I would hate to take the over and see a 24-20 final..

He burned us again 815...I can't believe I actually supported him at one time

Remember when he came into the playoff game that year he was injured when Orton played as a rook? That was a great atmosphere when we really had so many hopes for that guy. In the end, he just proved too inconsistent.

We need to get a split on these early games and then sweep the late ones. We're looking good with respect to the line movement. Let's hope it stays that way...
