I don't know about dumb, some of those guys in the list are though. They'd rather just take off than look for the 3rd option or check-down. The style just doesn't transfer well to the NFL. These guys can be effective, look at Vick last year, they just have to be coached for years/ adjust to the speed of an NFL D.
