iffy QB situation in edmonton. quarterbacks are IMO 80% of the offense in the CFL, without a solid #1, they're bound to fail. 20 pts in 2 games is just awful, teams get that many in 1 quarterComment -

The difference here is that most people in this thread are actually intelligent people who discuss football, and many times know when they agree with my opinion, they feel better about theirs.. I've been known to get on drunken stoopers and lose on live and 2H lines with the best of em too...

Key injuries for Winnipeg: Alex Suber and Brandon Stewart both in the secondary has caused a domino effect resulting in changes to 4 of the 12 defensive positions. 2 new substitutes and 2 players playing out of their usual position.
Key injury for Edmonton: Adarius Bowman out indef. - big play stretch receiver now leaves now release for star wr Fred Stamps, Wpg can now freely double Stamps all game.

Meh... I didn't like that total so low, and lets face it, without the fight, the Esks don't lose their top D-Linemen to try and shut the Bombers out... Charles running 76 yards didn't help on the screen dump... least we had the push in our sights... really should have won the way the 3rd quarter went...Comment -

3 Big points that I believe work here -
1 - after holding the Esks to a point last week - I see that as a false sign of how good the Defense really is... I STILL don't see the Riders much good for much, and I see this being an under type game, but I am guessing that the Lions are going to figure out how to get the offense going to find their way to 3-0...
2 - I See BC as the team to challenge for the Grey cup - period... The road to Toronto is paved through Vancouver, and tonight, game 3 in the season, I don't see the Riders winning in this spot.
3 - BC just owned the Riders last year... Clearly they are a different team, and THAT's what's driving the line low... But I still see ownership until shown otherwise...
I'm going to give up the points on a med sized play on the Lions... Smaller on the under...

It's the Battle of Alberta disguised as the Battle of Ontario... Ray Vs Burris and from the line dropping down from 5 to 3.5 it looks like A LOT of people suddenly like the Argo's...
As much as was a huge Argo dog backer the past couple of seasons, I really am not sure about what's going on here... and as such I'm not going to do much on the side but say that the Argo's are a good team generally on the road, but last week the Cats almost upset BC coming from no where in that game... going to give the edge to the home town here and give up the 3.5 points... while on the total, it looks like the game is going nuts jumping from 53 to 56.5 as of this moment... I'm going to bet the under and hope that maybe the public is wrong, and just a touch of defense may jump into the offensive firepower...
