Guy throws a 2 yard pass, Mcfadden jukes his guy and rushes for a 67 yard touchdown... Shannon Sharpe says " Jason Campbell is playing great". If it wasn't Shannon Sharpe, it would have been another token or affirmative action announcer sticking up for Campbell. The guy throws checkdown after checkdown, the fact that Mcfadden turns a 5 yard pass into a 67 yarder has little to do with QB play. The guy was cut and hardly anybody wanted him for a reason. He's a backup QB that can sometimes execute a simple game plan or simple commands, but can't lead a passing attack.
I'm sick of the media always giving Jason Campbell or David Garrard a plug whenever something good happens. Whenever somebody says the Jags need to find a new QB, or the redskins needed to with Campbell certain token people always defend the guys.
Ryan Fitzpatrick is on a horrible team and is easily outplaying those guys but you don't hear the Shannon Sharpe types hyping that guy up after throwing screen pass TDs.
