LT - 5 straight weeks under 4 yards a carry
like all chargers fans predicted, the first few games were a fluke and he's now reverting back to last year's form, behind one of the best O-lines to boot. Shawn Greene is starting to get the bulk of the carries now.

    RIP LT's career

bitter much? Charger fans didn't predict shit. All I heard this offseason was how LT cant stay on his feet and has no burst. Have you watched him much this year? The guy still has it. Only the lame ass charger fans that turn on a player once they leave San Diego think LT is done.

Greene hasn't faired well either lately. LT has been lighting it up out of the backfield.

Good thing Ryan Mathews has filled in for LT nicely. Oh wait, nevermind. He cant stay on the field and he fumbles once every 20 carries.

              done

mendoza, you obviously haven't watched the past 5 games. Tolbert, a career backup, is averaging a full yd per carry more than LT did last year. Mathews has been hurt all year...........4.4 yds a carry when he is in there. He hasn't fumbled since week 2

Of course our running game is better this year. LT ripped that o-line and Norv for only worrying about pass blocking. Both Tolbert and Mathews will be done in 5 or 6 years due to the punishment that they take. They average a yard more than LT did last year because they lower their shoulder and look for contact. Good for them, but they'll be done at a very young age. Why do you think Ryan Mathews is always hurt? LT is able to have so much success because he doesn't lower his shoulder and take a hit every time he touches the ball. Mathews and Tolbert do. And sorry, but Mathews and Tolbert have put the ball on the ground more times this year than LT did the last 4. They are both useless pass blockers, and cant do shit out of the backfield.

and obviously you didn't watch the first 5 games because Tolbert put the ball on the ground in Oakland.

Good thing you were right about Greene getting the bulk of the carries

LT had 3 more carries than Green prior to the last 2 minutes of the game. I wonder why. Probably because they dont want their starting RB to get hurt during mop up time

greene has progressively gotten more carries every week

another game under 4 yards a carry, keep up the quality posting

Greene hasn't been much better than LT running lately either. Their entire running game has sucked the past 6 games except for a few gadget plays out of the Wildcat or on end arounds.

LT is still decent receiving out of the backfield though.
