not sure if either team is the real deal this season. both teams seem like frauds and am guessing will finish around 8-8. but for this week i am leaning on texans to cover

      Fixed.

I love some of the "logic" on here. Getting your ass absolutely thrashed is not a reason to bet a team the next week. Does anybody have some numbers on that?

Speaking of numbers, where's your updates betweather? I want to know what stadiums have heavy crosswinds 30min before kickoff!
Walter forgot... when you're desperate's when you got no choice.

        Yes it is....in the NFL.

        Not in college.

NFL teams that fail to cover the spread by 25 points or more are around 70% ATS their next game the last 100 occurrences. Besides Texans, also applies to Rams this week.

          Like KC +5
          better defense
Houston O line is ****** up with injuries
Houston cant win a game since their LT was suspended, now their starting G is injured, KC D-line is very good

            Stats are for losers
you can make case for KC too, underdogs have covered over 60% of the time this yr

70% over 100 plays is a lot more meaningful than 3-1 this season, especially when the angle I posted puts you on teams with value, as line are usually adjusted against teams that just got blown out.

As for on-the-field performance, Houston weak pass defense doesn't matter with Cassel at QB.

                Nice little gem.

Sneaks off to create previous week action point grid.

Texans best bet on the board imo. Kansas have a nice little lead in their division and will probably look past this game if they fall behind early. The Next weeks should win game will become their focus.

Chiefs are young and fast, very scrappy. Teased up to +10.5 looks juicy.

You are correct in using your brain and not your heart, KC is a much improved young team with a good coaching staff, but the still have some holes to fill. The Texans at this point are a few steps ahead they will cover at home.

                      TEXANS 31
                      CHIEFS 20

Last I checked public betting on this game is 50-50. I think this game might be a little closer than we are expecting. KC Defense is good. We are missing 2 O linemen for Sundays game. Jacoby Jones and Mario Williams didnt practice yesterday (im sure they will play though). I can see the Texans winning this game, but it will be a sweat out, nothing easy here guys.

Texans weakness(pass defense) doesn't play into the Chiefs passing game. Cassel can't throw for crap. I see the Texans going back to the run game and play action.

This line is pretty sharp. Should be a close Texans win. Not a good matchup for the Chiefs.

Some on here are acting like the Texans are the 85 bears. The pass defense blows and Cassel will look like John Elway on Sunday. Not saying that Cassel is a superbowl qb but he can def keep it close if not win against the Texans.
