Good Morning everybody, and yes i am up this early on a Sunday morning, as you can plainly see i care about gambling and all its courses and corsets it entails, i capped my 3 plays with the desire and dedication of 122 swarming Bees in the heat of passion and the total eclipse of the heart. i dance when needed and duck at the appropriate times, my betting days began in 1996 in a small town in PA. I was working at a bar and always worked the late shift for various reasons, oh wait, let me first clear a few meaningful things up.... I HAVE AN ABOVE AVERAGE IQ, A PROVEN FACT. TESTES AT DUKE UNIVERSITY IN 1999. Now yes that was a few years ago, but one might think....... the number may have gone up! second I AM A WRITER, BY NATURE, I HAVE THE INNATE ABILITY TO MAKE SENSE IN BLACK AND WHITE, OM PAPER, PEOPLE GET WHAT I SAY AND FEEL HOW I AM, so for all those that question my superior intellect and my grammar short comings, IE...... commas, periods, and punctuations, IT DOES NOT MATTER, I HAVE A HANDFUL OF EDITORS ON HAND WHEN MY ROUGH DRAFT IS COMPLETED, i get paid to write short stories and sports blogs, I am a sports blogger in 3 states and write a weekly column in Lincoln, Nebraska and also write for a Sugarland, Texas paper, as well as a Beverly Hills Gazette. Anyway back to my rookie days as a young gambler, like i said i just got promoted at my other job, i was a hostess and all the guys and gals loved my winning ways, so the Manager promoted me to........... ASST. Manager, I TURNED HIM DOWN FLAT! I would never ever take on that roll, i do not want to be a Manager of any food related establishment, Sammy does not do that, anyway that night a lovely Spanish lady came in for supper and we hit it off quite nicely, not that i was looking for love, after all i am 6" feet 3 inches tall and dirty Blond hair and blue eyes, and i work out, so its not out of the realm, she thought i was a knockout, in due time we really loved chatting and she told me her Papa owned a small bar-tavern about 25 miles away and she would love me to work there. Now i am 25 years young I have a good head on my shoulders and smart but i had trepidations to say the least, not sure as to why though, anyway we exchanged numbers and i called her 2 days later, NEVER CALL A WOMAN THE NEXT DAY, SHE WILL KNOW YOUR DESPERATE, just a side note fellas, hell back in 2003 I worked part time as a Dating consultant for Match-Makers inc. she told me to come on by an talk to her Papa. He liked me from the start I could tell, OK let me give you the short version, being a accomplished and distinguished writer i have the ablatively ability to talk at will. My very first night at the Bar, i had 2 guys hit on me, that was really weird, i mean i am all man, not a effeminate guy, but anyway i let them know Sammy loves women! OK an older gentleman came in sat at the bar, and we talked sports, and boy did we talk, all night long, he was a vast array of information and knowledge, i credit him, by the way his name is Monty, with all my great capping skills and my inner harbor of thoughts and emotions. I saw him call in a bet, and i was hooked, i was a young guy who loved sports and was very good at them as well, as you know know i went to Boston College University back in 1994, and played baseball and football, he told me the ins and out of betting sports, after 2 weeks on the job and some dough in my wallet I make my first wager, Monty called it in for me, I bet the Chicago Bulls at home against the Miami Heat, the Bulls were if i recall right 11 point favorite that night, i do have an excellent memory. I made a small 200 dollar wager on the Bulls -11. They won the game 103-71, and i was so happy, i won my first bet. From then on i was hooked. OK guys i have a lot of cooking to do, I make breakfast here in CALI for a place that serves BREAKFAST IN BED, i came up with the idea and the seed money to get this fast growing business off the ground, my buddy from the old neighborhood runs the company, i just cook the food on Sundays, it was a great concept i came up with one snowy night back in Philadelphia, we cook the food and bring it to your door, husbands call and want a romantic breakfast for their wife, wives who cant or don't like to cook call, the guy does a great job, all the food is delivered on nice trays, and the whole BREAKFAST IN BED theme is the kicker, oh by the way its Gourmet food as well.
