EMERGENCY REPORT: The bears/seahawks game will go over the 37.5. It has gone over the last 6 previous meetings. Seattle will score more than 10 points, the bears will score more than 24, if the line was as low as 34 I would pound it so hard but 37.5 is very very very likely to hit over.

Sorry guys I've been out of commission. It looks like there has been some great progress here. As a niners fan playing the Raiders this week, again, I'm staying away from the spread, but would place a money line bet on SF. So far I'm 0-1 with the spread against the Falcons, which is why I'm somewhat skeptical with my expertise, and I've been reading numerous posts that indicate, "Less is more". Meaning, that numerous research actually doesn't equal success, and many times, people overanalyze their picks, leading to losses. My post is definitely late, but again, I'd stay away from this bet, and bet a small money line for the home team. BOL.

I would also add that I have yet to converse with a Raiders fan about this week's matchup, which again, halts the betting process. I don't know much about betting as of yet, but am intelligent enough to realize when to avoid betting, and this is just one of those weeks where I'd prefer not to...which is the reason for the ML bet.

Even though the Jets haven't beaten the Broncos since 2002, only two games between that time to now. The Jets are a complete team to defeat the Broncos because the Broncos so far cannot defeat high defense teams like the Ravens. The Jets and Ravens are very similar, their Quarterbacks are game managers, their strong defense and running backs does most of the work.

            Jets -3
Jets won and covered the spread.
I'm 2-1 ATS so far with the Broncos.

As for Week 7 Raiders @ Broncos, it depends which QB is starting for the Raiders.

Hey Dolphins guy, Packers guy here. Nice game yesterday.($$$) I was curious about a couple things from the game.

                  1. What happened to the wildcat? They didn't run a single wildcat play yesterday and stats are down all season.

                  2. What's the deal with Brandon Marshall? It's clear the kid's got huge talent, but he's no gamer. He should've been able to dot the "i" on that TD catch, he also should've been able to rip that INT away. Has he been doing this all along? He doesn't seem to have much heart which will be a big drawback in big games.

                  3. What the deal with Henne? His stats seem great, but his throws aren't great. Maybe I'm spoiled in Rodgers & Peyton country with every throw being pin point. Maybe Henne just needs some extra experience and seasoning. I just don't like where he's placing the balls. The blocking seems fantastic, the receivers are fine, he just needs to get them the ball better.

                  4. The team overall certainly has the Parcells fingerprints on it with a solid defense and running game. I just feel like this team is lacking something. It's the 3rd year in the new regime and I guess I was expecting a lot more. (I know there have been some injuries, ie Merling has been missing all season, Dansby could be a huge hit) It seems like the success of the wildcat has worn off and they're going through growing pains trying to establish an identity other than a gimmick team.

TENNESSEE TITANS VS JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS game:

                      1) vince young historically successful in the spotlight ADV- TENN

                      2) chris johnson due for a homerun ADV- TENN

                      3) jacksonville coming off 2 games against defenses that essentially havnt really stopped anybody from scoring ADV- TENN

                      4) both teams chasing indy and houston at 4-2 and so we will definitely see the best each team has ADV- NONE

                      5) jaguars are a home dog on MNF and have a lot to prove. first time stadium will be packed in a while. ADV- JACK

                      6) jaguars secondary is suspect and tennessee's passing game is alive as ever - ADV -TENN

                      7) jaguars have a psychological advantage over vince young, as well as the titans. -ADV - JACK

                      8) titans have beat NY GIANTS, DALLAS on the ROAD... two teams which not a lot of other teams can just walk into and hammer 30 + points on. tennessee looking fearless on the road - ADV- TEN

                      9) david garrard has shown the ability to air the ball out in the past against the titans secondary who often give up big plays whilst looking for big interceptions. ADV- JACK

to be honest, this game, once agian will come down to jacksonville's ability to move the ball on offense, moreso than tennessee's ability to. tennessee's defense has looked like a pack of hungry wolves all year long. its really (without any bias whatsoever) probably the #2 defense in the NFL right now after the new york jets. two teams -the raiders, and the steelers were completely unable to do anything on offense whatsoever and another two teams - broncos and giants were unable to do anything for the entire first half and even in the second half the broncos were more or less shut out and the giants only racked up yards on a prevent defense.

tennessee's defensive line presents a scary proposition to the jags, and i'm not sure if garrard will be able to handle the intensity that pass rush brings , averaging around 5 sacks a game thus far this year. to truly cap this game properly, i would need help from jags fans as to how garrard has been handling pass rush lately, and whehter he/his receivers can air it out against a secondary that often cheats and looks for interceptions. if garrard is successful against such types of cheating secondaries, then i see the jags able to air it out and put up some points. if not, then the jags might turn the ball over enough to get blown out.

as for the tenn offense vs jags D, i think we see much of the same story -ground and pound mixed in with some deep balls. last week vy hit 4 deep passes and the cowboys were caught completely off guard. quesiton is, is jeff fisher intelligent enough to replicate a passing gameplan again , after finally opening up the playbook for the first time like in his life last week .

both kickers are solid , so look for a lot of field goals in a divison matchup where both teams will look to put any type of points on the board whether in 3's or 7's. probably wont be a lot of going for it on 4th down..

in the end- tennessee's offense is working too well right now and you will see them putting up points consistently, especialyl mixing in the deep passes vs a weak jags secondary. and i think that combined with tennessee's wolfpack defense vs garrard who is due for another mistake filled game against a team that is causing turnovers left right and center...

                      titans 27 jags 16

Skins is the only play here. How could you lay points even being at home with the Beaasss?? Who just came off a loss to Seattle. Skins have a solid defense in my opinion. Numbers dont do justice I feel. Its going to come down to the Skins pass rush, if they can get Cutler throwing the dumb throws he tends to, Id expect a couple of picks in the Skins favor. As far as the Skins on offense, Torain is a tough back. Guy runs hard! I feel like McNabb is playing as well as he ever has in his career. The more these guys work together the better the results. We saw the fight this team has against the Colts. Redskins 24 Bears 17

Any questions or coments on this game is welcomed.

As I said earlier, it's probably already been tried and failed, but let's see where it goes. I have already PMed the Bronco guy about the matchup with the 49ers this week, and hopefully WE can report our findings when we come to a consensus. Early lean for me; I'll side with the public in Broncos +1

This way you can keep some of the biases down. You know now a lot about the 49ers so you could be a checks and balance type for the 49ers. You will still follow them in your spare time. But if you primary goal to is keep it none bias they should have to study them team they hate the most.

Okay guys. I've PMed Gunshard, who's covered the Broncos, and he's a bit skeptical about betting this game, however if we had to pick an edge, I'd give it to the Broncos. I'm attempting not to let my bias get in the way, but I just don't see the 49ers and their depleted offense pull this one off. Both teams are obviously having a rough year, but Broncos have had a stronger strength of schedule, have a better quarterback, coach, and the 49ers have consistently choked in close games this year, including the Saints, Falcons, and Eagles. 49ers are also starting their 3rd string quarterback, and their depleted offense gives me all the more confidence that they will again, choke. Broncos are coming off a complete and utter embarrassment, and have no choice but to bounce back with a vengeance this game. I'm taking Broncos.

Denver + 1-2 pts depending on where you can get it

Packers going to Jets doesn't look like a good matchup to me. I'm fading my Pack once again this week. The injury list for the Pack is still long and the Jets are coming off a bye at home, that's a solid trend if you want to do the numbers. The Packers continue to get overrated, if that's even possible with such unrealistic preseason expectations, while the Jets are quietly maybe one of the 2 or 3 best teams in the NFL right now.

I still have no clue how the Packers won last week except Favre broke his foot and proceeded to make bad throws. Fade Farve in NE also, I can't believe he's going to suit up after two fractures in his foot.

I'll make those three bets. Hey, it's only money. Remember, keep track of your bets.

That Broncos vs 49ers game was a no play for me because if Alex Smith played then it's Denver +1, but Troy Smith it ended up being San Francisco -1.

For Week 10, on my local news that DJ Williams is charged with DUI and most likely not to play this Sunday, he is the Broncos main defense player since Broncos main defensive player Elvis Dumervil was injured for the season before this season started. Not only that, but many important players have left the Broncos roster before the season started.

Broncos are out of the bye week @ home, but the Chiefs are similar to the Raiders, strong run offense against Broncos poor run defense.

                                                      Difficult game to predict.

Packers are on a bye this week. Next they are @ Minny. I expect that line will be around Packers -3. If it's off the 3 in either direction, that'll be my lean. How they set that line will probably depend on how Minnesota does this week @ Chicago in a critical game for both of those teams.

For Week 11, Saints and Packers out of the bye week looks like the best plays.

                                                            RE: DJ Williams on Denver...

The Broncos said they levied the heaviest fines possible for conduct detrimental to the club under the terms of the league’s CBA. They also announced he will not start Sunday’s game against the Chiefs, and his status as a team captain has been stripped for the rest of the season.

That’s pretty harsh, but it’s deserved.

The Broncos couldn’t have suspended for Williams for the entire game for the arrest. Only the league can discipline players for legal issues. The team’s punishment was based on the distraction Williams caused, and for the fact that he missed much of Friday’s work schedule. He was arrested at 2:50 a.m. in downtown Denver.
