You'd think Al Davis would have learned his lesson by now in hiring these awful coaches. First Bill Callahan, then Norv Turner. Remember Joe Bugel?

What's the only success the Raiders have had in the last 10 years? When Davis hired a young coach (Gruden) and let him build the team, which he did in a couple of years. He then hires "players" coaches and wonders why the team stinks.

you would have thought that davis learning his lesson by now, but no way. what he needs to do is go out and hire somebody like bill bates. a person that knows not on the x's and o's, and has not been tainted by the vigourious NFL head coaching life already.
