As a neutral observer I must admit I've seen quite a bit of inconsistency from SP too. He's changed how he posts his record to make it look more favorable and he's changed his units per play rules. He claimed quite an outrageous NCAAF history (something like 80-90% and undocumented) and I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and tail on some picks. That hasn't worked out too well, but at the end of the day that's my responsibility. I can't speak for the MLB problems either, but from the sounds of it there have been some inconsistencies with his record/goals etc there too.
I think what most people are having a problem with is the grand claims without any documentation and changing a lot of things on the fly. Some people have asked some very fair questions, but he brushes them off in a very condescending way or flat out ignores them. Instead of addressing some valid points, he challenges them with a contest or talks about his "huge" bankroll. This is clearly a red herring to change the focus to something else that is totally irrelevant and pretty immature.
