i would think with a coach as good as Shanny that they would see this as a opportunity to get a much needed win before a tougher part of there schedule.

dont overthink this one the caliber of teams these teams have faced are dramatically. look at the cards defense 40some points to atlata and raiders were ran over by ten. skins -3.5 definetly the play

1)The Redskins offensive line is banged up, they lost their LT, they are going to have to insert Stephen Heyer into the lineup...
Now match that with the Rams D-Line which is actually the strength of their defense, which will help out Spags... and it could mean problems and turnovers for the Redskins.

2) Washington is playing their first ROAD game.

3) Washington just had two very emotionally draining games... Home vs Dallas, and then a last second heart breaker vs Houston. You could say Washington should be 2-0, but you could also say they are nearly 0-2.

4) The Rams didn't lost their games by that much, and their defense made Jason Campbell look like shit as he got benched.

5) The rams went into Washington and won last year in an ugly game...

Washington might win, but do they win by more than a field goal???? Their pass rush isn't that good, and Sam Bradford has done alright for an NFL rookie. The Rams have kept their games reasonably close, and Mcnabb could shit a brick on the road or play one of those games where it looks like he doesn't care.

I'll bet the books think Washington wins by 3.

does anyone remember when mcnabb played the raiders when the raiders were like 2-6... 95% of the public was on the eagles and the eagles actually lost outright. Mcnabb played horrible in that game. i expect the same. 2 big emotional games that they won. I see them taking the rams lightly
