Was going to post this, thanks for saving me the trouble!

I'm not bagging on you IMGV, I just think its funny how we always hear how great you are when you win but you're remarkably silent when you lose. If you're going to call someone a bad football handicapper and carry out a lifelong grudge against someone because they disagreed with you on a game, you should be able to dish it in like you dish it out. I've never done anything to you except tell you that I didn't like either side in the USC/UCLA game. For whatever reason, you've had a grudge against me ever since. Then, I say that I like Jacksonville and Cincinnati getting the points this weekend and I'm again told how I'm the worst football handicapper there is. I never even said I was going to play either game, I just said if I did, I would be taking the points with what I feel are two very solid and underrated teams.

You seem to be the only person on here who can't stand to be challenged or disagreed with. A trait like that is not good for a forum like this. I've said that I think you're a good handicapper. You just need to stop deriding people who disagree with you. There are guys on here that are sharper than me. Buddy Bear, Razz, Owned, and Mudcat come to mind, but I'm sure there are a few more. I greatly respect their opinions and I'll ask them for advice. You don't have to prove anything to anyone on this forum. People should be allowed to disagree with you on a game without being called "a very bad football handicapper" and "a low piece of sh*t". If you're constantly going to remind us when you're right, people should be able to remind you when you're wrong. Do you see anyone else on here with games in their signature? No, because nobody cares.

I don't think you're a bad person and I don't think you're a bad handicapper. You just need to realize that people have every right to disagree or debate with you about a game without being derided in every post by you. Just trying to help you out because I know I'm not the only one here who thinks that...

BAD CALLS? What about the pass "completion" where the ball clearly hit the ground but ruled in favor for USC. And then the Interception which was ruled Not an interception when the Texas Defender clearly caught the ball and the ground caused the fumble.

It's still annoying that in the media, they show all the close calls that ended up favoring UT, but never showed the calls that ended up Favoring USC. The UT catch should have been an interception, but instead it resulted in USC going down the field near the end of the first half and scoring a field goal.

And I will Forever Hate the Refs for not calling Vince Down when he lateralled it. It's hard to argue that USC would have stopped them from getting a TD with the momentum they had. Now that victory will be tarnished, but I hope you can admit Vince would have put it in the endzone even if he was ruled down around the 4 yard line. And I wish they had ruled him down, so that there would not have been this controversy.

If they played again, with better un-Biased Refs, UT would Win...cuz you can't stop Vince. Who had better passing percentage? Who had the most rushing yards?

...and i concur with Senator. a bit too much Flamin' there IMGV...and i know, i'm not the poster boy for civility either...but i try not to make personal attacks...i'll throw in a snide comment or two, but won't attack anybody (or at least I make an effort not to, but often times i'm drunk...)

Yeah...that's why you attacked me yesterday for no reason.

Anyway...Reggie Bush is not overrated....VY may be underrated but Bush is hardly overrated. I don't think VY will have success like this at the next level though.

Overrated is like Notre Dame or Michigan.

    Ok, not over-rated, but over-hyped.

and i think VY will do well at the next level. Did you see him run around those USC Defenders. The man is FAST! He doesn't look fast cuz he's tall and Gangly but he can move. And his passes were spot on yesterday. there were few times when he made a bad throw or decision.

Anyway, all arguable until he plays pro.

And i attacked you cuz you were gettin all fired up with 'God Im Good' and i wanted to see if i could push you over the edge...and it sorta worked. Not very nice, I admit...My Bad... all in the past... how bout a truce, but i think we're already there.

No problem Ramblin...i was kind of being an asshole with ND stuff....don't get me wrong I watch most ND games....deep down I probably like ND just afraid to admit it....they've provided some very nice games over the years. Hard to say anything negative about Charlie Weiss.....that story of him and that dying little boy was probably the best story of the entire NCAAF year.

It's just exciting for me to say something that ends up true....rarely happens trust me.

I guess just some intense collge football fans arguing.

Truce to all I've pissed off

I'm pretty sure they didn't review UT's INT that was called incomplete as a makeup call for not reviewing on VY's pitch.

Hey Senator I guess i pegged you wrong, you do have some
class. I'm sorry for bashing you. I thought you were
being an azzhole before but I guess it's easy to misunderstand
things. Funny enough it strikes me when anyone on here
argues or has a tif-taff-cause we all are in the same game-
basically on the same boat- with same interests, beating
the sportsbook. All of us u would think would be buddies
since we share this interest. well senator i was completely
wrong about u, and i am extremely sorry for bashing u, congrats on texas you guys who bet texas on the sides
made a brillant call. you guys wagered against a team that
won 34 straight and was showcased as maybe the best
    team ever in college football.

And the last team that was supposedly the best team ever (2003 Oklahoma) ended up getting trounced by a K-State team, by a score of 35-7, that wasn't even supposed to be any competition for them. I tend to not pay attention to who's bandwagon the media is jumping on to.

Just curious... If They had called Vince down on that pitch for a TD, do you think USC would have held them back from scoring a TD? I know we'll never know the answer and it's all speculation, but do you think UT would have scored the TD if the officials had ruled him down around the 5 yeard line?

Definitely, Vince would of run it in. If not a short little screen pass or some such. Hard to see them not scoring at that stage.

Yes they would of scored, USC couldn't stop them all
game, but Texas couldn't stop USC either. They had
players with cramps and needing IV's.. Like I said
1st team to 40 always win.. Remember that 1st team
to score 40pts always wins like 99% of the time.

kind of like basketball where 1st team to score 100
wins but I think that is only 75-80% if i am not
    mistaken..

well, not really a stat i'd pay attention to...but noted. How many games make it to 40 pts in football for one team? Doesn't say much. I bet there's a stat that says first team to score 63 points wins 100% of the time... ok not a 100% for you sticklers... 99.8% of the time. What does that tell you?

Nah seriously, the "woohooo bet this!!! make cash my friends!!!" thing is gettin old now, but its a nice example of how an addict without money management can and WILL blast his bankroll.
Good learning stuff, bottom line: the bookie knows it better in the long run :thumbs_up

The bookies definitely don't know it better. They are the biggest group of "followers" in the corporate world. That's why they are consistently beaten by savvy individuals, and IMG has made considerably more than enough on his signature plays to cover this loss.

exactly...the juice will get you. Players like imgv think some lines are way off, but thats just not how things are...
personal feelings for a game rarely matter.
Of course there are ways to take advantage of line movements, line shopping etc - what i mean is: coming here and telling everyone that this special game is a LOCK is BULLSHIT
