Oak +4 I like, I think AZ could be a front runner for worst team in the league if they don't fix D. Anderson at quarterback. Surprised OAK isn't the favorite here, even on the road

Gradkowski has lead the same Raider team to victory before, and would not surprise me if they pull out a win.

Yes, favorites that failed to cover last game by over 25 points are usually great bets the next game.
My main reservation is that the angle is supposed to be geared toward good teams, and I am not sure if Arizona is this year,

not sure what you like about this over, neither offense is worth a damn, and id expect wisenhunt to have the d a little geared up after last weeks performance. seems like a low scoring clunker to me.

Do have a great point, I wouldn't watch it either, probably two of the worst teams in the nfl. But like LT said, I am leaning Cardinals -4 because of the disaster they had last week.

Cards blow out Raiders.
What makes people think the Cards are suddenly one of the worst teams? They're rebuilding, but against the disaster aka Oakland they will have a field day in their home opener. Forget the blowout in Atlanta. Nobody did anything right. They always have a couple of games like that.
Looks like they'll have Beanie Wells back. That will take some of the weight of Hightower, and together they'll help open up the passing game. Sure, Anderson has been anything but accurate. But he'll start getting it to Fitz more often. You only have to throw it somewhere in his direction and he'll come down with it. With number 11 getting healthier and getting used to Anderson, it's just a matter of time before they start putting points on the board.
They still have plenty of weapons. The D is a work in progress, so the lessons learned in Atlanta should serve them well the rest of the way. These guys are committed to success. Team culture is strong. This situation reminds me off their blowout in Foxboro a few years ago. The media were joking about them being the worst playoff team ever. And how did they respond? Came within a hair of winning the Superbowl.
It's a long season, and Whiz knows what he has to do to correct the mistakes. That's very different than, for instance, in Dallas, where they don't seem know what the problem is. The Cards aren't just going to roll over. Once they start clicking again, watch out.
By the way, they ran into a very good Atlanta team. Watch out for those guys. They came into last season with high expectations, but couldn't deliver. But they're back. The Saints will have their hands full.

Couldnt bet Oakland +4 and look at myself in the mirror next day
Gard probably better QB to win but doesnt have the arm to stretch the field like Campbell
does
saying that Anderson sucks too. so no bet

I to feel dirty about the thought of riding oakland. Almost better to give the money away. But that's how I'd feel about riding arizona and I live here. All that being said I teasered oakland to +13 1/2. Should be a no score game, slow and painful to watch. So +13 1/2 is as good as anything to win.

I'd probably lean Arizona, but this is a no bet for me as of now this week. If JC were starting for Oakland then i'd be all over Arizona.

Most only tune it to the game involving the team they root for anyway, at least for the most part.

How did the game last week remind you of the blowout loss in Foxboro a couple of years ago? They had the division clinched and played in a blizzard at New England. They also had the best player in franchise history to right that ship who decided to take up dancing. Cards even practiced in a monsoon a few days after foxboro. I see no similarities.
I think you would have been better off just sticking with your first paragraph and adding something like cards 1st home game of season against a bad team. Personally, I can't trust the Cards so I'm staying away from this game. I think you'll see Anderson is not Warner. He couldn't hit Fitz against a lousy Rams team.
