    gift or trap?
    chiefs +1 @ browns
    ravens -1 @ bengals
    texans -3 @ redskins
    patriots -1.5 @ jets

are these away teams gifts? or traps?

away teams look way too easy, so im inclined to take all the home teams....

    what do you think?

Why is KC -1 too easy?

Not sure if you noticed, but depite winning at home in the rain the KC offense was terrible and the Defense was just Ok. Cleveland wasn't impressive, but still, they should have won that game if Mangini didn't have his head in his ass.

    Houston -3?

on the road? at wahington? unless your a sucker and think foster is gong run for 200+ yards at any point in this season again, let alone against a solid Washington team, im not sure why someone would think this is easy

I think Houston is a trap. The public should push the number higher, but they still are on the road. I think the redskins ML is a good value play

houston will never see -3.5 as long as the earth still exists before that game kicks off. the last thing the public saw in regards to this game was washington beating dallas (even though washington should have lost because dallas has bonehead players and coaches). good luck!

I have to disagree. I may be wrong and we will see but I think Houston is becoming one of the better teams in the AFC. I like them to cover the -3. Two games last week where a team was favored -3 the public pounded and the line never changed but the price got better for the favorite. Jax and GB. They both won by 7. Im thinking the same thing here. I really like Houston and that was before I saw that damn UT running back go off last week.

I'm surprised Philly -3.5 @ Detroit hasn't gotten any attention. Vick is a legit #1 QB while the Lions have Shaun Hill and no offensive line. The Lions D-line is legit but if Vick can run that shouldn't be much of a factor. Philly should score TDs on its first 3 possessions easily while the Lions will struggle to score 13 points.

The Lions secondary isn't Baltimore Orioles/Pittsburgh Pirates bad. They're Chicago Cubs bad. Its one thing for a bad team to put in effort and snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, but the Lions secondary is made of guys who couldn't make some team's practice squads.

I think the lines make sense... Seems like these games can go either way... We've had 1 NFL week so it's hard to tell exactly where each team stands. However, Pats might be worth a look at -1.5... Jets are seriously overrated!

I like the first three picks but I feel like pats over jets is just reading too much into what happened last week. A couple years ago I fell into a vicious cycle of making bets on teams that had just won a game over teams that had just lost and it didn't do very well for me. I'm leaving that game alone until I see more about the Pats and Jets. Cincy makes me nervous as well, it's hard to believe they're as bad as they looked against NE.
Walter forgot... when you're desperate's when you got no choice.

I agree with these picks will be 2/4. I'm already on the Pats -1 as of yesterday, really like that one.

The only traps on there are the ones you put money on and lose haha.
I actually would only make plays on Balt or NE in these spots with those lines... Which means they are probably the 2 'trap' games, as per my usual.

I could see any of those losing. We'll see I guess.
