    NFL Week 2 Blowjobs
    NFL Week 1: 4-5 (-1.20x)

Not pleased with last week. Feel good that I got to watch most of the games already. Have a few more too watch will be making plays soon.

    Good luck.

    Philadelphia Eagles -3 (-120) (2x)
I get it, I really do, I know the Lions are the "sexy" sleeper pick and after being robbed of a win on Sunday in Chicago the Lions bandwagon is still full. But, let's remember, the Bears aren't good. So really what did we learn about the Lions that warrants such a low line against a team that has been good year after year? What did the Lions show us other then the capability to blow a late lead? Shaun Hill is getting the start, last week he was 9/19 for 88 yards and an interception. Sure, you guys can hoot and holler about how Jahvid Best got you some Fantasy points but he got two goal line scores. He ran for 20 yards and 14 carries for christ sake. His long was 8 yards, he had enough trouble getting back to the line. Ok, so point and say "But, this defense is good, did you see that goal line stand?". Well, yea I did, Suh looked good but they still were thrown on for 372 yards. Good luck with that defense trying to handle Vick running and passing. Don't be shocked to see the Eagles defense and special teams produce some points either. I don't think Hill will hold up too well against the Philly blitz scheme. It took the Eagles some time to get going against the Packers but they made a very good Packers offense look kind of tame most of the time and were able to move the ball in the 2nd half behind Vick. I really like this one.

I'm not laying -200 on the Eagles. No reason for it. If you don't feel safe laying 3 points then why not buy down to -2.5 at -130? Not likely they lose by 1 or 2 points.

Crazy how tight lines seem this week at first glance.

Up to 4.5 at most places, bought it down to 4. Vick should have 100 yards on the ground again against the Lions D.

            Browns -1 (2x)
Just what I like, a strong Monday Night effort by the Cheifs against a rival and everyone overreacting. This team has a miserable offense, we saw that. Now the Browns are just one point favorites in their home opener? Jake Delhomme isn't awful he just needed to get out of Carolina. He is kind of like Jake Plummer, he will make mistakes but in the end he has the tools to be an NFL starter. Even if he doesn't go this offense should be better then the Cheifs. Seneca Wallace or Colt McCoy I think can both do enough for this offense to beat the Cheifs. Matt Cassel couldn't find room to throw against the Chargers and you can blame it on rain but the bottom line is the play calling was pretty bad. The fact they one last week and didn't get beat up by the media for being too conservative I don't think will change the plays much. Cleveland has won this matchup the last 4 meetings between these teams and last year Jerome Harrison made this defense look silly. I really like this Cheifs defense this year, I think they certainly have potential but I think they will be one of those good home team, bad road team clubs this year. Both of these teams are making strides in the right direction and I think the Browns should be able to get the win at home in this one.

Really love what both these teams are doing. You look at the Cheifs defense and you see a ton of talent with guys who I enjoy watching. (Tyson Jackson, Dorsey, Johnson, Berry, Arenas, Haili, etc). Then you look at the Browns and I like the players they are adding (Haden, Brown, Gocong). I think that Cheifs team could be a force in a few years if they find a QB. As for the Browns they are relying on McCoy becoming something but still need to add a receiver. No reason these two teams can't go 7-9.

Chiefs could be a surprise playoff team. I am looking at their schedule. Here is what I see...

                Wins
vs Raiders, vs Broncos, vs Jags, vs Bills, vs Cardinals, @ Rams

If they win those games they are at 7 wins.

                Possible Wins
                @ Denver, @ Raiders, @ Seattle, vs 49ers

Is it crazy to think think they win 2 of those?

The only tough games they have are @ Houston, @ Indy, @ SD, and vs Titans

Is it crazy to think they win one of those? Vs Titans could very well be a in.

This team has potential with the right kind of team and a weak schedule.
                ======================================== ===============

Browns have some tough luck with a crazy tough schedule. 2 games vs Ravens, 2 vs Bengals, 2 vs Steelers, @ Bills, @ Dolphins, @ Jags, vs Jets, vs Pats, @ Saints, vs Falcons.

Seems like all the weaker out of division opponents they have to play on the road. Still think they have potential to grab 2 division games, this game, and a win over the Bills and Jags. If they had any other schedule they probably win 7 games.

                  Baltimore -1 (1x)
Not sold on the Bengals just yet. Baltimore comes in looking to avenge two losses to the Bengals last year. The Ravens showed a lot on Monday. Despite not really being put to the test the Ravens did stop the Jets on several drives forcing FG's and were great against Sanchez. Palmer is no Sanchez but the Cincy running game is also no Shonn Greene/LDT combo. Really like the Ravens offense this year. Boldin looked good, Mason ran good routes, and Todd Heap is old reliable. Think they will cause Cincincatti some trouble. Cincy got no pressure on Brady and if they get no pressure on Flacco it will be a very long day. Benson being reported as questionable doesn't help matters.

                    Vikings -5.5 (1x)
Not a good matchup for the Dolphins. This run heavy offense is going against the best defensive line in the league and it could result in a lot of 3rd and longs and a long day for Chad Henne. They didn't muster much against an average Bills defense and the Vikings defense was impressive in only giving up 14 to the Saints. Another week of practice for Favre can't hurt and playing anywhere other then a ruckus Superdome should make things better. The Vikings dominated at home last year and I don't know if the Dolphins are good enough to stop Favre and AP.

Waiting for Lions to hit +7 so I can take them for 1 unit to hedge my Eagles bet. Really don't like it as much as I did. Don't like everyone jumping on them.

Yea, I agree. I'm betting lions on the ML. I know it's a risky play, but getting 3.5-1 or whatever it is, seems nice, but GL on the Vikings bet, I'm with you on that game.
