Coming from an Eagles fan...Vick better be the starter. The offense looked alive when he was out there, receivers were catching the ball and the game was exciting.

When Kolb was out there...I literally wanted to puke when I saw Kolb playing, he is horrible. Takes too much time in the pocket, then before you know it..he was getting sacked.

On the last drive in the redzone I am sure if he ran the ball instead of forcing a pass the Eagles would have punched it in. he had blockers and a clear lane to the endzone yet he forced a bad pass.

I agree...the media got to his head and wanted to get his starting job back and decided to pass a little more. Which is a good thing IMO, but when your making a comeback like he was doing..Vick should of done what he was made to do....rushed it in

I don't think Kolb will have that good of a game week 2, as I agree with you that I am still not that impressed with Vick as a QB. As an athlete obviously yes, he has still got it, but QB no. He did miss throw a lot of passes and he made some bad decisions with the ball, one large one which costed them a TD. I think teams will be much more suited to defend against a Vick led team from now on because they will be game planned for him. The Pack prepared for a pocket passer in Kolb, not a rushing QB in Vick. I think Kolb will be an alright QB, except I feel that McNabb would obviously stilll be a way better option.

yes vick did give them a nice shot of energy, but your going to tell me that every regular season game kolb has played in hes been disastrous?????? I guess I was unaware that 327 yds passing with 2 passing tds and 1 rushing td is a horrendous start, and also a 391 yd passing game with 2 td, granted he had 3 picks, against the superbowl champs New Orleans Saints is such a bad QB....It was one half of football against one of the top defenses in the league, hell be alright

If Vick was anyone else but MIKE VICK he would be starting. He should be starting, he's clearly better than at least 20 of the starting QB's out there, INCLUDING Kolb. Mike Vick is back to his pre-jail form and he proved it yesterday. This guy needs to start, he did his time, he deserves a shot.

No matter what defense you're playing, if the team that you're playing against is only 2 td's down any coach in the league is going to adjust to make sure that they stop the opposing team in order to get the easy win. Vick wasn't prepped as the starter all year. Vick said that he could play 4 more quarters. Rockets that receivers can't catch? Have you ever seen an NFL wide receiver work a jugs machine throwing 70 mph footballs? Kolb sucks and there's a reason that Kolb went to Houston and not any of the top 25 schools.

IDK you guys may and probably are right. I am just not sold on one half of football either way. I just don't think you can say Vick is this great QB after one half against a team that wasn't prepared to face him. Also, I don't get what him saying he couldve played 4 more quarters is supposed to mean??? He played about 5 plays in the first half and a whole 2nd half. What does that have to do with anything?? Vick is better than Kolb bottom line. He never worked out when he was with the Falcons. He was great in Atlanta. Now with Eagles and he works out. He has to be better. Who cares about past. Eagles have good enough receivers to spread the defense, allowing Vick to pick up runs when need be. If you focus too hard on Vick, 66% is a damn good completion percentage. There aren't many LB's who can spy and contain him. I say keep him in there and see how dynamic that offense becomes.

if they can allow vick back in the offense i think they could start contending for championships again. not a lot of teams can counter the athleticism they have on offense. they should have gotten housed by green bay.
