The last 2 posts says a lot about most people who gamble. HilltopTony I agree 100% and have been saying it for years. I saw it raising my 2 sons. They all want instant gratifying results and they want it handed to them.

Gambling on sports is all about staying power and if you don't have it then this thread aint for you. There is no magic, no system, it's just the law of averages. If a 10 unit play doesn't hit at 12 noon then the 4 O'Clocker is a 20 unit play. If the 4 O'Clock game loses then the 8 PM game is a 60 unit bet and so on. It's like betting on roulette at a casino. Just bet black and keep doubling, tripling, quadrupling etc until black hits. You people want to vilify and berate Smack for this? You're fools who deserve to lose. I admire his cojones.

Taking San Fransisco/Arizona OVER 39.5 points tonight for a good chunk. (let's leave it at that for those that jump on after a bad loss and stay quiet after HUGE wins.

You know when I make the HUGE plays it's on your PROFIT not your LIFE SAVINGS or money you CAN'T afford to lose. If you follow this thread YOU KNOW that........so again...........I will make that POINT here again. If your down...................(Saturday was HUGE here).............but if your down I would go whatever you can afford tonight on this play.

I told you last night I would make it up to you after that loss..................and this is the play.

Get it before it creeps back up to 40.

I like this game to hit 45 tonight in prime time so 40 would be all right if that is where your line is.

couple things:
I am not surprised by the results. I knew, with the way my luck has been, and this is about the 10th "winning" poster I tailed on various sports and forums, and I haven't made one single dime off any of them. Their records are legit; I checked smacks record only for NFL this year and its something like 34-16, which is phenominal (of course b4 today). I fully take responsibility for bets placed, you have 2b prepared to lose, nothing is sure thing. Don't blame the guy for losing. Of course, I cannot find this thread yesterday and win. No, have to find today and lose (yeah I know cry me a fuckin river) I went to covers.com, this site, you name it. Nba, NFL, NCAAF, etc. I cannot find ONE SINGLE CONSISTENT WINNER in the last few weeks. Boys, hate 2 say this, but lines are too sharp right now to be beaten. I realized after blowing another few k this week, really have had it with football. Cant handle the devastation anymore. My 8-year old son turned to me today, and said, "Dad, why do you look so sad?" I told him I was sorry just tired. Enough is enough. Cant say I didnt try everything, the top cappers had indy tonight and wasnt close, what does that say? Time to fold'em.

we are in the same boat. I know how you feel bro. I loss a bit over $30K in 3 months. This shi.t is so stressful & depressing. I was also on Indy last night for couple k too. I took it because Smack sounded very confident. I had a real bad feeling about taking the Indy. Chargers are getting there key players back while Colts are losing theirs. I know Manning is great and all, but this is a team sport. Not 1 player game. Colts' receivers dropped balls left & right & couldn't create space to catch the ball. True sharp were all over Chargers last night. All I can say is f\*\*k me. It's my decision to take it. Not Smack. For those that loss a few hundred dollars on Indy, don't get mad at anyone. I loss $3k last night. I blamed myself for losing the $$$.

damn this is a tough one gents. 85% hammering the Over even before smacks post. Thats really high, the line has already moved to 42. Up a point and a half. from the opening number. I think the defense/running game of San Francisco picks it up today. Im going for a low scoring one, especially since last year with Kurt Warner and a better team, Arizona couldnt average 20 points in their two contests. They averages 13.5 pts.
Remember Last year az scores 9 and 16 points WITH KURT WARNER and ANQUON BOLDIN (dont know how to spell it) ; No way with Derek Anderson the Worst/ Least accurate qb in the league is going to step it up. Monday Night Football, Defenses step it up, more rest. Its in a dome so weather is of no difference. I think SF Rolls this one in a big game for both defenses. Final Score: 21-10 or 17-13 SF.
Also look at SF Defense, they give up about 60 less yards per game and 8 pts less than AZ. The Offense for SF is better too. Only thing AZ has for them is home field advantage, but AZ rush defense sucks, so look for Gore to have a huge game. 10 TD in last 8 against AZ.
Still love you smack, just think its a tough game. Usually when i take your picks and am unsure on outcome, I take your pics and they hit, but it games like the OSU/Mich Over, and that Bears game yesterday I was thinking the other way and failed.
I like the under on this one guys, good luck everyone either way. If you lost alot yesterday some advice: I lost $1000 yesterday out of my $2500 profit on that chargers game. Dont try and bet the whole chunk back or it will bite you in the ass. Bet a medium sized play.

Not hating on smack at all. Always love his plays and he made me a shitload on Saturday. Just not sure how confident I am in AZ this year, and i dont see them bouncing back against this tough SF team whos won 2/3 games.

I was in a nice spot last night, I had already teased Baltimore with SD so I had SD +8.5 so I played the same amount on the Colts and hoped for a middle. It didn't happen but I also didn't lose much besides a little juice. My big play was the over 50 and it was a push. Hope to see alot of celebrating the next time I come in here.
