What is so easy about that for the avg bettor? He/she thinks pats are still the same team and getting a point or giving a point seems easy. NE is in tough here. Miami should run the ball at will against this terrible pats defense. NE hasnt played a good defense yet and Miami is not bad. Brady and Moss will have a tough game but at the same time the thinking might be they wont lose 2 in a row. I personally think the pats era is over and most that bet on them think they are still the old pats. This team has a lot of holes. Miami players will feel much better playing this game after a tough physical game versus the div champ Jets.

but is this line set to attract the average better or is it sharper than you think? i'm not sure with this one...miami laying 1 seems like a steal

If the books installed Mia as the nominal 3 point faves the writing would be on the wall. THe avg bettor DOES NOT think that Miami is better than NE so will bet on NE thus the avg bet will be attracted to NE money. THats the trick here. I personally think that its tough to lay too much on this game. I think the under might be worth a shot here as i expect the fins to pund the ball to keep Brady and co off the field of play.

Just a thought - what was MIA record vs. NE last season? The Pats era was done when the cheaters were exposed... Much like Bonds "record breaking" homers, the Pats "championships" should be "marked" as well.

agree, miami seems like the right side, but i think this one goes over. pats have allowed no less than 24 pts this season. their defense is terrible

they aren't. The "sharps" were all over Miami when the line came out. Just look at the guys

I'm with you on this one LB. I think MIA will run a lot and throw the ball at the opportune times. Pats D looks very weak and MIA will be ready to play after losing their home opener to the Jets.

LB and guys quick question...we do expect the dolphins to pound the ball right? i'm thinking of takeing the brown/ricky rush+receiving total over 120 1/2 prop.if they want to win they need to run and after last weeks loss i expect them to hand it to the RBs till the NE can stop the run.NE is 24th in league with 119 avg rushing yards allowed.any opinions much appreciated

if you want my opiniion, i think over is the play. pats defense is no good, has allowed at least 24 pts in each of its 3 games so your half way there and pats still have one of the best pass offense in the league so they should be able to score. it just depends on how long fins plan on holding the ball on their possessions i guess
