Why are people betting the Texans?
They always play the Colts tough but has anyone noticed they always lose to the Colts? I think they are something like 1-14 in their last 15 meetings? I know that the Colts didn't cover everytime because they usually were laying 6 plus points many games. In their last 10 meetings, Colts are 5-5 ATS against the Texans. However, this game is basically a pickem with Colts laying 1 or 1.5 points at the moment. I don't know why there is always so much love for the Texans everytime they play the Colts.

I mean if they were getting 6 points then i could see it but you are asking the Texans to win the game and they cannot beat the colts. I am actually now a fade the public player but i cannot see betting the Texans against the Colts. Last year the Texans blew some 21 point lead in the 4th quarter to the Colts and they always seem to choke against the Colts.

So with the Colts laying 1 or 1.5 points, you are basically hoping the Texans win this game? Also, i noticed the public usually wins early in the season so thats another reason why i think the Texans are not a good bet.

Can someone explain why they like the Texans in basically a pickem when they lost the last 14 out of 15 meetings i think?

because the texans have always been a tough competetor against the colts. This year schaub is looking great as well as andre johnson. Usually the texans get a good lead in the first half then blow it. But this year they have arian foster. alot of people think hes the solver of this issue and that its texans year to run down the clock and substane the lead. people believe that its the texans time to beat the colts. especially since there the super bowl losers.

With any other team i would agree with everyone. But however its the colts lead by peyton. I agree with you, i dont see it happening against the colts. peyton has weapons all over now, and a lot of guys are healthy again. Peyton is incredible winning games straight up. I dont think people are realizing that theyre betting against peyton... Never Bet against peyton.

because SB losers are 3-11 SU & ATS when opening the season on the road.
Div home dogs that won 9+games prev season are 20-8 ATS anytime during first 3 games, and 18-4 ATS when taking less than 5 points.
Texans are 8-3 ATS as home dogs under Kubiak and 5-1 in this position in divisional play

Indy is 15-1 SU all time vs texans, but that was then & this is now. All good things have to come to an end sometime. Plus, winning is repetition, with the SB & 4 NFLX games Indy has lost 5 straight games now.

I'm taking the colts -1.5 all day, if I lost 1X on Peyton and Co. so be it, but I'm not betting on a team that is 1-15 against him

Texans are usually good ATS. Depending on how many points.

Saturday is out for Colts, center...bigger deal than some think, Texans have decent RB now with Foster.......did u see what GB did to Colt def in week 3 preseason, the week teams play starters the most....Schaub to Andre is tough to beat, give Peyton and Indy their due but don't be surprised when HTN wins SU this time.....Vegas isn't giving away money , public loves Peyton and Indy and they are loving only laying 2 2- .....time will tell, it is gambling

Funny how that logic doesn't relate to your previously stated trends. Indy never does well preseason.

How didnt they improve? Peyton has so many weapons around him. Rookies have improved greatly, how do you stop Peyton with everyone he has around him. Reggie Wayne, Pierre Garcon, Anthony Gonzalez, Austin collie, Dallas Clark and Donald brown and Addia.

I think deep down people want to see them do well and make the playoffs and realize they can't do either of those without a win over the Colts

Texans D is going to stop Peyton? No fukking way. If you think Texans have a shot to win take the over because if they win it definatley will be a shoot out. GL everyone I can't wait until tomorrow!

O-line issues coupled with fact that game in houston always comes down to wire. This appears like the perfect time to get over the hump.

Indy has almost always lost 5 straight games going into the season opener because they dont care about preseason. Indy is the only play today and they win by at least a touchdown.

I agree. I am a true Colts fan but this game is a little fishy. I'm staying away. 49er's look like a great play this week...

i haven't missed a colts game in 10+ years... I know this game will be close as all the houston/indy games always are. However I still feel like the colts win, if you can get them at a pk i say jump on it...

All streaks come to an end. Everybody knows that the Colts have owned the Texans but the Texans have been knocking on the door and have been coming close to beating the Colts. I think the Texans finally get that W today.

                                                                    Vikings +14 1/2
