Surffreak Nfl Picks!!!
Dolphins -3 The only thing i dont like about this the dolphins are 0-5 in buffalo since 04 as well as tony never winning a week 1 game with dolphins. Plus 91% of the public is backing them up which i really dont like backing the public when its over 80%. But since vegas usually lets the public win some money till week 3 or 4, im going to stick with the public
Oakland +6.5- This is going to be one of my favorite picks of week 1. The public is heavily backing up tennessee. Every year i have a underdog team that is going to be a playoff contender. Falcons were awful at 4-12 in 2007 to 11-5 in 2008, then the bengals wen 4-11 in 2008 to 10-6 in 2009, my 2010 team is oakland to have a winning season this year. They are healthy, have a good secondary and the rush defense greatly improved this year. The raiders seem to do excellent in situations were they are huge underdogs, they were 5-1 against the spread of +6.5 or more last year, and beat some good teams straight out.
Carolina +7- The spread seems to be way to high. I feel like carolina is going to run all over the giants. Although the panthers are not going to be too great agianst the run either. Take this into account, Teams as favorites in their new stadiums are 3-8 against the spread.
Steelers +2- The steelers have done good without big ben. Even without him they are a talented team and have won games (4-2) and i believe the falcons are going to take them lightly without their starting quarterback. The steelers are going to play there hearts out.
Broncos +3- Orton looks a hell of a lot better, and jags coach del Rio is 0-10 against the spread as a favorite... Should i say more?
Colts-2- i can never bet against my colts, but this year im actually scared of the texans. The colts have won the last 15-16 times, but the texans are looking good. Peyon is 10-2 ats when the line is +3 to -3 since 07. I am not going to put money against peyton manning ever. Hes the best and gets work done. This is a huge game for the texans and superbowl losers are 3-13 ats in the first game their following season. But this is not normal circumstances. This is peyton manning hes my favorite and the best, im not betting against him.
Detriot+6.5- im going to heavily favor detriot this season, Stafford has offensive weapons all around him this year. How is the bears secondary going to stop all of staffords weapons, johnson, best, pettigrew, burleson, sheffler? Plus detriot is going to pressure cutler. Remember how many times he was sacked last year, im suprised how many points detriot is getting. Especially against chicago! they stink. Detriot is going to be another one of my underdog favorites for this season. Plus i think detriot will win outright.
49ers-3- No one is there to protect hassleback, 49ers should win outright. The only thing i dont like is 91% of the public is on them. But like i said before vegas gives out easy games in the beginning weeks and lets the public win.
Green bay -3- The packers are my favorite team to win the nfc championship. I think every team will have trouble stopping rodgers and all of the weapons he has. They're under the radar as alot of people are picking the dallas and the saints to do good in the nfc. As for the game against the eagles, the eagles are rebuilding, arent under mcnabb and are a completely different team than last year.
Baltimore +2.5-The only thing i dont like about this game is that rex ryan used to be the defensive cordinater for the ravens in 08. Still i feel as though the jets are always over hyped. The ravens offense is going to be amazing this year especially with the pick up of boldin. Sanchez... well lets just leave it at that. We dont need to talk about how bad hes looking. good thing for the jets that they have a running game. Oh wait the ravens were 1st against the rush last year... I dont see ravens getting beat.
Chargers -5.5- As i stated before i really do not like siding with the public, mostly because they will make you lose and change the spread. But as it being week1 and vegas usually lets people win money in the early stages Im backing the public a lot. The chiefs o line is aweful, and the chargers are a pretty solid team. I think its going to be one sided.
