      Mr Goldman

Let me ask you a question....

feel free to think about it before answering....

Do you think Favre gave a rat's ass about all these records
as he was throwing the ridiculous INT to the New Orlean's
safety in the closing minutes of the NFC Title game last
      year......

These records meant absolutely NOTHING as he fuked up
another chance to redeem his sorry ass.....

All I know is his plan worked to perfection! He got an extra $7 million and made alot of sportcasters look like idiots (Dan Patrick, Jay Mariotti, Bill Plaschke) who fell for his BS Monday "hook, line, and sinker"! Diabolical!

                  hahaha..that explains everything......

You are a die hard Green Cheese fan who kept his eye on Favre for 17 years..

One thing I found out from the Packer Forum is that no one can reason
with you people..... so this will be my last response to you....

One question, though for the man with the head of green, stale cheese....

                  1) Did you also boo Favre on his trip back to Lambeau last year.....with all the others....

                  ------------------

And did you see the new Green Cheese high light film for 2010..

                  They already released it.......

blah blah blah...i am sure you have never been accused of being brilliant eh?..favre bashers are just jealous...simple as that.......they all just wish they would have had the most dynamic player in the last 20 yrs on their team......and thank you for the last reponse to me.........what you have to say......which is very naive anyhow.... doesn't fricken matter.

Ok no more bickering between us..

I actually met his dad Irwin and some other people with him
                          including Deanna..

Was at Lambeau for the Vike/Packer game as part of a package
from Gabes by the Park in the Twin Cities...part of the package
was a ticket to America's Pack tailgate section at Lambeau...

And I stuck up a conversation with this husky man with a very short
haircut and a thick southern accent.....we were in between brats
and beer and he says... " Ya know my son plays for the Packers..
                          Brett Favre...you know him ? "

He asked the question so matter of factly......

                          him....

                          Long story short...

Irwin was a Great guy...very down to Earth....and I am sure

The only things about him that are unchallenged and unmatched are his interception record and his legacies of choking in his biggest games, having a voracious appetite for attention, and being a waffling douche.

A shame really, but he brought it all upon himself in the last 5 years instead of being remembered for his enthusiasm and durability.

I don't think he is the greatest QB ever to play, but I would say he has to be in the top 10.

heres the truth. farve is a great player whos been up and down but won alot of games and been consitant through out. he hasn't had the best players but had just enough talent. so hes a great player. but to be on the list of payton manning tom brady and montana ect.. then hes down on my list. he gets to big games which is something amazing but the way we look at greatness is kinda sad cause we base it soley on championships which only 1 team gets out of 31 team. its really not fair to the marinos and tarkentons out their who havnt won the big game. and even brett its not fair to him cause he had a great career however he didnt put up crazy number like marino and manning and brady so compared to the greats so far hes down and compared to superbowl wins hes down. so overall im saying hes about a top 5 quarterback every year he has played but never was number one. and only has 1 super bowl win. so hes great but not that great. hes fun to watch and its sad to see him go but its seems that either pressures getting to him at the end of big games or hes has terrible luck in big games but either way thats not going to cut it. and andrian peterson is a big part to the reason why he gets so far and why he lost his last big game. but taking a step back great player but was never the best and with only one superbowl win and the chocking he does late in games. hes not to high on my list. your great farve but accept a first ballot hall of fame as a gift because we love you not because your the best out their but becasue effort pays off!

you cannot be serious, you do realize that if Marino had a defense like Farve had with Reggie, and company, and had not blown out his Achilles he would have records that Farve still couldn't touch! Thankfully Peyton will destroy all of Farves records except the INT one so we don't have to hear he is the blah blah blah of this record and that record

Ranking quarterbacks based on the amount of super bowls won is the lamest.

Favre was a good quarterback. Not the best, but slightly above average is a bit of an understatement.

That thread was created right after the Saints won the super bowl.
