Use Nitrobetting for 6 point teasers -110 and FD for 10 point teasers -120 and you can find advantages. If you can anticipate line movements, you'll even get better odds. The closing line will determine if it was a good bet or bad bet if you think the NFL is an efficient market.

To make a general statement, teasing down home teams early is normally the best value if you consider the closing line to be efficient. The line normally moves up after opening.

How come the books didn't move the 2.5s this week? A heavy 1 is teaser protection. Very few do it today. And if you think that 2.5 will increase to 3, meaning the ML will increase too, it's a great bet.
