    I can’t remember who was the backup to Hurts but it now appears it will Mariota who left Falcons to Eagles. (Why?)


    The Philadelphia Eagles and quarterback Marcus Mariota have agreed to terms on a one-year, $5 million deal plus $3 million in incentives, a league source confirmed.

    Mariota is expected to be the backup quarterback behind Jalen Hurts next season.

    Mariota played the 2022 season with the Atlanta Falcons.

    The Eagles had a 14-3 record in 2022, winning the NFC East and advancing to Super Bowl LVII before losing to the Kansas City Chiefs.

    Minshaw was the backup to Hurts last year. I guess he is leaving the Nest?

    better than minishew but the super bowl loser hangs on my birds so i will fade them most of year especially 1st game of year and thier home opener too yeahhhhhhhh 2-0 start fade the Eagles

    Similar playing styles. Mariotta fits better the Eagles offense than Minshew. So when Hurts gets hurt the offense don't need to adjust.
