-there is now a 17 game season. Used to be 14 and 16
- there are byes to get back momentum
-more teams than ever make the playoffs now

you can add the denver broncos to that list. obvious to about 100% of the people after that game. russell wilson doesn't have the juice anymore. forget the stats we all know it.

I always used to say athletic quarterbacks are good for about 3-5 years, except for Russell Wilson. Well, I don't have to say except for anymore. 33 years old and washed up.

A qb who is athletic has a much shorter shelf life in the NFL, in general.
