Finally. Even Gradkowski proved to be better. And when Gradkowski got injured, Charlie Fry took the position, meaning the coaches were tired of him blowing games. (He doubled up in Int and Fumbles than TD passes). Nice thought Owner and Coaches are in the same direction

He had no touch with his passes. Add to the this the fact he wasn't motivated to be all that he could be and this is the result. Take the money and run. He will never play another down in the NFL.

Finally the Raiders have acted like a football team instead of something from some other planet. Dumping Russell was the right move. With the addition of Campbell, and a good draft, the Raiders actually did things right this off season. The only thing I can conclude from this is that Al Davis no longer controls the team.

it is all about the hype for football players. the only non-hype moves was no taking Reggie Bush 1st overall and Vince Young.

Al Davis will probably rule the Raiders from the grave, at least until he wins another SB with them......

don't think this guy is worth the gamble for any team, its difficult to teach discipline and hardwork. Russell just doesn't have the work ethic to be a successful professional football player, let alone a QB.

My understanding is that he showed up for camp in shape and motivated but it was too late since Campbell's current skill level is probably better than Russell's ceiling. If I was the Bills, Browns, Panthers, or any other team with an uncertain QB situation, I'd give him a look.

I'm surprised the Saints aren't interested in him as a backup.
Walter forgot... when you're desperate's when you got no choice.

Based on the stupidity he's displayed so far, I'm willing to bet he managed to blow all of it already.
