this is really a stupid comment a win is a win and when you look at the record that is all you see. its like see a qbs interceptions...they could all be the fault of the receiver by tipping the ball in the air but the qb gets the stat for it and that is all you see

Don't get me wrong I do agree Vince Young is becomming a decent QB but hes no where near elite QBs in the NFL now. Yes he took the Titans on a 7-1 run since he started but honestly it was mainly Chris Johnson exploding in the games. Then you you say why wasn't Chris Johnson producing wins when they were 0-6, its because they were playing a lot harder elite teams such as Colts, Pats, Steelers, and even Houston (even though they beat them out the second time, again a close game). The teams Vince beat are not even good...Rams...Buffalos..49ers...and even Jacksonville who are so inconsistant. They barley beat the Cardinals with Matt Lienart as QB. Also if Kerry Collins was such a bad QB how did he take the Titans to a 10-0 run last year?Comment -

The reason why they went 10-0 with KFC last year is because the Defense was dominant... this year the D is nowhere near as good. It's pretty much the same reason they went 10-6 the year before. VY wasn't good enough to win 10 games that year, he sucked, but the D was really good.
You wanna talk about teams played in the 0-6 stretch versus the 7-1 stretch... 3 of them were the same team.
Here are the QB ratings:
Houston KFC: 90-- VY: 84.7(however VY had 70+ rushing yards)
Jacksonville KFC: 66.7-- VY: 114.1
Indi KFC:59.9--VY: 77.8
Also in the Rams game they both played...although KFC played for most of the game VY had a 156.2 rating while KFC's was 101.6
And you can't just look at QB rating...VY has surpassed KFC in just about every measurable stat that exists.
There is no question in any Titans fan mind that we wouldnt be anywhere near 7 wins with Collins at QB.
Right now just about every Titans fan who has watched the last 8 games thinks VY will be the QB of the teams future.

the fact that he led this team from 0-6 to the playoff hunt is miraculous in itself. especially considering how terrible their secondary is and how he has quite possibly the worst set of receivers in the nfl.

oh the Titans D was shit no doubt, but the T.O.P. got out of hand. how many 3 and outs and turnovers are they supposed to survive? also Rivers had about a perfect game.
i thought it would be a close game with lots of points (cashed the over), but Young's turnovers killed the Titans. when it was 7-3 and Johnson took them down the field again, that first INT was horrible. Young locked on his TE, never looked anyone off, didn't recognize the man-to-man/zone mix coverage and threw it right to a LB.
and the 2nd Int? throwing into double coverage and behind the WR?
when other QBs have bad games is it the result of just not being very accurate or is it misreading defenses? i know which one it is in Young's case.
and seriously, he has the BEST RB in the NFL. fukk AP, he has a hall-of-famer at QB, a sick TE and very capable WRs. he should go for 130 a game. i hate the Titans, I hate VY, I hate CJ...but shit Johnson is good. the best RB in the NFL this season.Comment
