#466First post here. However, I have been following discussions and cappers here the better part of the football season. I have wagered a long time in about a dozen books and am familar with most of the services and paid cappers out there. As a brief aside, like most know, most cappers are mostly marketing and there is very little honesty out there. Numbers are inflated, some tracking services are legit, but most of the cappers that market heavily will "selectively misrepresent" by advertising a streak that may be legit, but is worthless over the short term. The pro-line and covers guys are the worst there.
Anyways, my take on pimike... I think he is a good handicapper - one of the better ones here (possibly the best, but less than 1 season is way too low of a sample size which is how long I have been following). However, mikes numbers and spreadsheet are inflated (to an extent). I have followed picks given out and posted and amounts. From the couple of weeks I actually tracked everything, I noted basketball, baseball, and at least one hockey pick that were posted or emailed that lost and did not make it to the spreadsheet. Also, I noticed bet amounts that were changed on the spreadsheet. If you want an example, game 6 of the world series was recorded as a $25,000 play (and posted on the boards as a play) and edited after the Phils lost to a $2,500 play. This is misleading and calls into obvious question the integrity of the spreadsheet as a whole.
Having said all of that, I will reiterate that I think mike is a good capper, does not ask people to pay for his picks (though he may plan on that at some point, I have no clue), and is worth following. I have tailed mike on some games - won some, lost some, of course.
Mike may care less what I have to say, but I believe it is fair to make some honest observations that may encourage a bit more transparency and less inflation of numbers on the spreadsheet. Maybe Mike will address some of my points if he feels I have made misrepresentations, maybe he will not. End of the day, as I have said, I think Mike is a good capper and hopes he continues to post his picks and people do their own homework and make their own observations to determine their comfort level in tailing Mike.Comment -

"Listen here you fuuking fringe, if I throw a dog a bone I don't want to know if it tastes good or not"
Take what you can, when you can, and don't bleat if it loses and be thankful if it wins. Bloody simple really. So you're right, it is all good.
Loving your work on the NHL mike in the Picks Of The Night. Great stuff.

Get real. 1 pick proves a point or changes a perception (positive or negative)? What if it had lost? Would you say mike doesn't know anything?
Good pick, good job posting it in time to play for any who wanted, and congrats on the quick winner for any who took it including mike.Comment -
