Cowboys may have interest in Matt Jones

Bob Glauber of Newsday reports we're hearing the Cowboys remain interested in Matt Jones as a possibility, but only after the NFL determines whether he will face additional sanctions as a result of his parole violation. Jones was suspended three games last year.

Wasn't he just arrested again for being caught using more drugs?

Jack Del Rio never liked him, and if I recall correctly he never really did jack in Jacksonville (pun?), but being so darn tall and the Jaguars never having anyone of talent as a wideout Jones may have appeared better than he is. The guys a physical specimen all right but he is a drug addict and might be tossed in jail before the season starts.

Pacman Jones had tremendous talent and nobody denies it. I just wonder what it does to a team to continuously bring these kind of guys in and they just implode over and over.

I hate the Cowboys so I hope Jerry keeps torching his own team. Thing is, they are so close to being dominant and are nevertheless stacked with talent. I'm just not sure why bring trouble that they don't need.
