Dallas gave up a 5th rounder, but got a 7th rounder back. Good move for Dallas, Cassel probably better than Weeden.

Dallas has a good team if they can stay close with Romo and Dez out when they both get back they could go deep in the playoffs. Defense is much improved with Sean Lee and also Greg Hardy will start playing in game 5 I believe

Cassel went to a pro bowl in 2010 leading KC to the playoffs. The biggest knock on Cassel is that he is injury prone.

I like the signing. I don't believe Weeden can keep this team afloat & win enough games until Romo comes back. Cassel has experience, similar situation when Brady went down, led the Patriots to 11-5 and made the playoffs. Yes, he had Belichick & the Patriots but, he's a professional and has the potential to win some games and with the way that division is looking, he has a chance to pull it off.
