Kickoff in 3 days and still not much talk on here
Lets get the discussion going. What are you guys thinking. The only thing I know about week 1 of betting the NFL is I know nothing yet.

Only thing I can lean towards is a big Pats win (and I am a Steelers fan) and the over in that game.

In order of what else I like

Cardinals -2.5 at home vs Saints who I don't think are very good (again I know nothing yet)
Chargers -3 at home vs Lions- I was never a fan of them all last year but its a new year
Ravens +4 at Denver I hate Baltimore but it just seems a good spot for them. I hope they lose

I almost posted a thread with the same title earlier today. The silence around here is bizarre. I'm dying to talk about some football lol.

Anyway, I'm with you on the Cardinals and Chargers. Denver in week one at mile high scares me, so I'll stay away. I think this same exact game opened the season two years ago. Baltimore was up at the half and ended up losing by three scores. I just don't think the cardio is there for these guys in week one, they can't handle the altitude for four quarters. Pats game I'm staying away from unless I hear something compelling.

I like Cards here, especially being at home. Tough, punishing defense vs. an offense that struggled last year with less weapons now. Plus their defense does not look to be much improved. AZ is a bit underrated IMO.

I like the Lions over the Chargers, but not enough to bet this game. I did however, throw Detroit in a teaser.

Staying away from the Denver game as well, but I'd lean for BAL +4. I think that Denver is going to play more ball control type offense and run the ball a lot more this year, but I will let them play a few games before I bet on or against them.

Was high on Rams a month ago, way down on them now. Offensive line looks like a mess.

Does anyone feel as tempted as me to take the Vikings -3 @ +110 against the 49'ers?

Just seems a little odd to me.

Seems like the biggest favorites are the Patriots and Packers to kickoff. Every other lines are all fairly low, practically picking the winner.

I think we'll start to generate more buzz after tomorrow night's game.

                        Early leans as follows:

                        Chargers -3
                        Tennessee +3
                        Cincinnati -3

Dismanteled, broken 49'er team going against a decent Teddy Bridgewater, Peterson (in which he promises his best season of his career), a mediocre OL...
