What all of you Patsy fans seem to forget is that Seattle is the better team.

Lol a one dimensional offense and you with confidence say theyre a better team?..pats the more complete team but most of us have enough awareness to realize this will be a close game that could go either way

not necessarily. everyone thought last year too. and all superbowls are thought to be close matchups.

would not be surprised to see New England make a statement.. bake them like donuts.

They were actually 18-1, but they lost the most important game of the season, so can't be considered one of the best seasons ever unless you want to add best season ever to not win the super bowl.

Pats will study the GB game closely since GB was so successful against Seattle, but they dont really need to that much because GB's gameplan is exactly what Pats already do anyway and that is alot of crossing routes, short stuff underneath. GB had a field day against Seattle. Hawks came out so fired up and played with so much intensity last SB they were not going to be denied, theyll need to have more head over aggression for this one though.

Is it cheating if one teams balls are deflated enough to where the QB, RB, WR, Or any other ball handler has an edge by being able to better secure the ball? I think Yes. How many times this year did we see a qb pull back to throw, and the ball slips out behind him. I remember seeing this twice this year.
Also, Brady publicly expressed his preference for deflated balls three years ago on a NE radio show. To the person who thinks this is sabotage, why would the sabotager help brady?

its one thing to be accused of cheating once, its another thing entirely to be accused twice. Belicheat will do absolutely anything to gain an edge. and he talks about having morals and ethics. Laughable.

ESPN conducted a very simple experiment in where three balls were thrown to him, one over inflated, one under, and one on the money. Jerome Bettis was able to tell which ball was which and easily hailed the under inflated ball as the ball with the edge as far as securing the ball is concerned.

                        YOU MAD BRO?????? fuccing cheaters

Bettis? Might as well have suggs run the experiment..laker how would a sabotage help brady? Espn is releasing articles with no facts in them and you are here doing the same thing..they werent playing with a saggy sack of leather like you just made it seem..there was no edge. Give the pats over inflated ball and give colts or ravens the lower inflated ball..pats still win..you are usually on the opposite site of whats right anyways so you running down the rabbit hole with this actually gives me more hope that nothing will come of it..nut up boy

The Colts aren't complaining, they are laughing this off. They even said they got out played and the football psi had nothing to do with it. The guy who intercepted the ball wanted it for a souvenir, his first pick in years and Tom Brady threw it in the conference game. He never noticed air pressure, he just wants his souvenir back. WTF people get over this "air" ball thing. Another reason this two week wait is f....... stupid.

The Seattle defense is way overrated. There fans seem to forget that they play in a horrible division, and basically faced backup and third string quarterbacks all year. Do the names Kirk Cousins, Austin Davis, Mark Sanchez, Derek Carr, Shaun Hill, and a pathetic season by Collin Kaepernick strike fear in even the worst defenses the league has to offer? In the immortal words of one Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson.....Child please!!

                                        Ok let me clarify.
Someone replied that this may be a case of sabotage instead the pats cheating. Meaning, according to the reply from said poster, that a person deflated the balls in hopes of sabotaging Brady. My response to that is, why would someone trying to sabotage Brady make the balls more to his liking? *****EDIT***** it was who made the sabotage comment. Let me ask you the question….why would the sabotager hook brady up with deflated balls that he prefers?

I never mentioned any facts that weren't true.
                                        1. I stated that i watched a SIMPLE experiment on espn and that is true. I don't believe i made it seem that the football was super deflated like saggin …but if it was deflated enough for a person to admit that its easier to secure..well thats called an edge. Plus Bettis, suggs…what does it matter? These two not only play NFL but are Super Bowl champs. I believe that makes them more qualified than a couple of random guys posting on an internet gambling site. Now please tell me where i said things that were untrue.

2.By deflating a ball, it gives you the ability to dig your hands in it and make more of an indent…wouldn't that make it easier for ball handler to hold on to the football? so true fact

                                        3. Brady did express that he preferred playing with deflated ball on a radio show a couple years back…true fact

                                        4. I never once said or even inferred that the game would have ended differently had the balls were all in equal PSI. Fact

So i surmise that you believe i am stating untrue statements.but the only thing i said that can be viewed as an opinion and not fact is my calling the patriots cheaters…thats my opinion, you are entitled to yours and I mine.

JUST FYI, having said all this..i probably gonna end up going with Pats..still doesn't change my view though.

PS..also you speak as if you know me..i believe you are mistaking me with lakerboy. no offense taken..just clarifying. Nut up? I'm not going to even respond to that. Gets the facts right before you run that mouth, Son

Guys, Roger Goodell watched the game Sunday with Bob Kraft, these men are close
friends and are members of the same college fraternity.
Here is today's offical statement by the NFL.
It would appear not unlikely that the NFL investigation may entirely exonerate the
Patriots organization of any intentional wrongdoing. We don't know, but do not be surprised.

                                          Here is the full statement:
"Our office has been conducting an investigation as to whether the footballs used in last Sunday’s AFC Championship Game complied with the specifications that are set forth in the playing rules. The investigation began based on information that suggested that the game balls used by the New England Patriots were not properly inflated to levels required by the playing rules, specifically Playing Rule 2, Section 1, which requires that the ball be inflated to between 12.5 and 13.5 pounds per square inch. Prior to the game, the game officials inspect the footballs to be used by each team and confirm that this standard is satisfied, which was done before last Sunday’s game.
"The investigation is being led jointly by NFL Executive Vice President Jeff Pash and Ted Wells of the law firm of Paul Weiss. Mr. Wells and his firm bring additional expertise and a valuable independent perspective. The investigation began promptly on Sunday night. Over the past several days, nearly 40 interviews have been conducted, including of Patriots personnel, game officials, and third parties with relevant information and expertise. We have obtained and are continuing to obtain additional information, including video and other electronic information and physical evidence. We have retained Renaissance Associates, an investigatory firm with sophisticated forensic expertise to assist in reviewing electronic and video information.
"The playing rules are intended to protect the fairness and integrity of our games. We take seriously claims that those rules have been violated and will fully investigate this matter without compromise or delay. The investigation is ongoing, will be thorough and objective, and is being pursued expeditiously. In the coming days, we expect to conduct numerous additional interviews, examine video and other forensic evidence, as well as relevant physical evidence. While the evidence thus far supports the conclusion that footballs that were under-inflated were used by the Patriots in the first half, the footballs were properly inflated for the second half and confirmed at the conclusion of the game to have remained properly inflated. The goals of the investigation will be to determine the explanation for why footballs used in the game were not in compliance with the playing rules and specifically whether any noncompliance was the result of deliberate action. We have not made any judgments on these points and will not do so until we have concluded our investigation and considered all of the relevant evidence.
"Upon being advised of the investigation, the Patriots promptly pledged their full cooperation and have made their personnel and other information available to us upon request. Our investigation will seek information from any and all relevant sources and we expect full cooperation from other clubs as well. As we develop more information and are in a position to reach conclusions, we will share them publicly."

They have Brady on tape saying he prefers deflated footballs a few years ago when he was commenting that when Gronk spiked the ball it deflated it a bit. I guarantee he knew it, whether or not he had anything to do with it. Brady pretending to be a dumbass in the press conference is laughable.

The Patriots play on the field won't be affected. They are Pros and its the Superbowl. I'd be worried about the Seahawks.
