Play Jets +10 for nickel. If they cover and Atl wins you walk with 2300 and change. If jets win outright you walk with 490. If Atl blows them out and covers you walk with 1300 and change. You'll never go broke taking profit. You are in for 10........take the emotion out of it.

This. I have terrible luck with hedging but this is really a win win seeing your only in 10. Plus I like your chances of a middle with +10

Thanks guys. Decided to put in $200 on NJ to score more than 17 points. There is no way they are going to win scoring less than 17 points. I feel like they could be blown away. More like Detroit vs Packers. Gave Detroit 9 moved to 10 then 11. Very suspicious. I bet based on the assumption books know than i know and try as much as i can to decipher what the line is saying vs the relative strengths of the sides. Good luck on whatever side you choose tonight

I would really have taken the points. What if Jets win 16 to 14? Did you see the Falcons offense last week against a weaker defense?

Jets are+ 375 to win SU. Bet $380 on that and you are guarantee $1,420 no matter who wins.

So you won your prop bet and locked in 190 of profit. Can't understand why you hedged the way you did when you could of locked in more with less risk. If jets didn't score 17 and they win straight up, you walk with nothing.

The Jets ML of $380 was an optimal hedge bet. It pays $1,425 with Jets odds of +375. If the Jets had loss, the $1,800 minus $380 would have netted $1,420.

I definitely made a mistake. Should have bet ML Jets. Pure greedy. Will definitely keep this in mind always. Just automatically bet the other way. Way too many people on Atlanta. Nothing is guaranteed but I made a bad bad read. Thanks for advice , need to listen more.

Matty Ice might bail you out by 1 point since Rex was too stupid to go for 2. I just won the Over.....think primetime NFL games have been about 80% over so far

I'm not saying these $10 parlays are easy but damn they are fun to play. Beats buying a $10 scratch off anyday.

Thing is, I think tennis is a bit easier because not so much a referee can do to influence a game. And if you lose in early rounds, prize money is low so there is an incentive for good players to play well. Also much easier to spot if a player is doing something fishy.

Unfortunately all professional sports are rigged to an extent and no one can stop that. And team spots the most easiest to fix. That last drive looked live Atlanta had nothing to play for. And Babineaux misses a clean shot at the Running Back. Dont know but too many times these games end a certain way that seems way too obvious and just makes you say hmm.

Ends of football games are always crazy..... teams do seemingly illogical things. Like last night 49ers are driving for a touchdown which would get the over (and my parlay) and they just stop at the 10 yard line on 1st down and call it a night. Other times 1 or 2 touch downs can be scored in the last 2 minutes. I personally don't think there's that much corruption but who knows.

Exactly, they are supposed to be professionals and some of the decisions the coaches make, I wonder how a person with a real job would get away with. And the Refs have too much of a say in these games, NFL and Baseball. Calling strikes or no strikes can change how a pitcher pitches.

And funny PI calls add 15 yards making it easier for a team to score. And then you add in straight bonehead calls where someone jumps offside to allow the other team first down. Or apparent face masks so refs cant miss it. Anyway, got to sleep. I will definitely hedge much better next time no matter how unlikely the proposition is.

No golfer is ever going to try to not win. Purest sport you can bet on. However some players, like Tiger Woods will try to cheat the game.......with steroids and rules infractions.......but no golfer would ever intentionally try to lose a tournament.
