How is that 'stat' relevant? Did he play the 2013 Patriots in those games?

I'm not sure that would be overly relevant as this current NE team looks very little like the Pats of the last few seasons. They're depleted right now, and you can only really consider them an average team as they currently stand, not elite.

However, with that in mind, I just looked at who those wins were against. What a weak list of opponents...

                      9/22/13: STL (1-3)
12/16/12: NYG (9-7) (NY ravaged by injuries at this point)
                      11/18/12: ARI (5-11)
                      1/1/12: TB (4-12)
                      10/16/11: CAR (6-10)
                      9/18/11: PHI (8-8)
                      1/2/11: CAR (2-14)
                      11/20/10: TEN (6-10)
                      10/17/10: CIN (4-12)
                      9/19/10: ARI (5-11)
                      11/29/09: TB (3-13)
                      11/8/09: WAS (4-12)
                      12/14/08: TB (9-7)
                      11/23/08: CAR (12-4)
                      9/21/08: KC (2-14)

                      That's an opponent's winning percentage of 31.3%

However even with this in mind, I like the Falcons tonight, quite a bit.

These stats are meaningless. Statistically speaking, it's even more probable this run will find an end tonight. Not saying Atlanta will not cover though.

Stats are subjective to the viewer, what helps you make the final decision is up to you.
