I'm a newbie here. Watching the "Men of a Certain Age" show just got me into sports betting haha. I haven't joined any sports betting sites yet, but I've searched and read through many threads on this site to find out what would be ideal for me. I'm basically leaning towards 5Dimes, but I want hear other inputs.

I little about myself:

I'm currently a college student in LA.
I'm probably going to bet on NFL and NBA games only.
I'm probably going to only bet between $50-$300 a game since I'm just getting started.
Right now I have $1000 ready to bet and probably won't bet again for awhile if I lose all that money. :P

I want a site that is reliable/non-scam site with has FAST ( and free is a big plus) withdrawal payouts. I don't really care about customer service support. Please let me know what you think.

So today I was so pissed cuz I was betting on the Man U. vs Birmingham soccer match. This was my first ever LARGE bet ever (started less than a week ago ;D) so I chose Man U. to straight up win via ML (Man U = 1st place in premier league vs 3rd lowest ranked team WTF). I was about to win until.... Birmingham scored in the 89TH (!!!!) minute of the game, so it ended in a draw and lost $XXX ;(( At this point my account has only $42 left and being depressed and all I was like f it, imma do a parlay bet.

My four teams were the Heat, Magic, Bulls, and Celtics on the ML (yeah... these games were a no duh games). Payout came out to be 1.5x. Long story short, I won my first 4 teams parlay! ;DDD And even though I still lost most of my money today, I feel motivated again to continue my sports betting adventures.

Butttt all the favorites covered their spread points, soooo I could've won 10x instead of 1.5x so that kinda bummed me down. :<

That's unfortunate. I probably wouldn't bet more than 5-10% of my bankroll. There is no such thing as a sure thing. Nice job on the parlay though.
