points for logging in???

i've read here that you get points for just logging in/out daily? I think i did that 3 days in a row, but i see no points

Well you just joined yesterday, so it can't be more than 2 days in a row. There are reasons that you might not see points, such as you have an IP that matches an existing account (to prevent people from cheating the SBR system). You should ask one of the Honchos around here, they will tell you if there is a problem. If you should be getting points and aren't they will fix it for you.

i also just checked my point account transaction table, and the only points i got so far where for "contributing to forum" and "first post of the day" and NO points for logging in daily...

OK, here you go.... "forum contribution" is logging in (or visiting) every day. You are getting the points, it is just labeled a little strange. I can understand your confusion. You should get 6 points a day if you make a post (12 pts if you are a pro).

BTW, I say you joined 2 days ago because your joined date says 11-29, and today is 11-30! At least in my part of the world.

i've been on here for months, browsing daily, and posting much less frequently- its been happening to me as well.. I knew points existed but now I know how much fun I could be having with them! Somebody tell me whats upppp

The points usually get credited...just click on "my points" and they should show there (sometimes it doesn't work though).

logging in should work everytime. once in a while you have to post twice in order to get your 1st post of the day points. should work though when you log in.

It has happened to me also that my first post of the day haven´t resulted in any points. I think it´s because posts needs a certain amount of characters to count. Anyone knows if there´s such a "post length limit" and how big itis?

I read it used to be different? Points for every 3 posts or something, but people were abusing it with total jibberish.....
