1. ## 5Dimes Help this srsly NEWBIE, PLEASE

If I want to bet like this:
ML L.A. Dodgers -310

How do I do that in the 5Dimes website?

I've logged in
Went to MLB
found the game tonight between L.A. Dodgers & Toronto Blue Jays
Input in the ML column -310 next to the L.A. Dodgers & (receive message saying An invalid amount for the wager was entered on selection: 980 Los Angeles Dodgers* . Please enter a numeric amount such as 10 or 10.50.

2. You put the amount of dollars you wish to bet in this box where i have put 100

3. I obviously have a lot to learn
What's the NEGATIVE 310 (-310) indicate then?

ML L.A. Dodgers -310

4. The risk amount to win 100 dollars. In other words you would wager \$310 and if the Dodgers won you would receive \$410...(risk \$310/profit\$100)

What Drew said.

But you need to read up on how American Odds work if you want to use 5Dimes.

It's quite a weird system compared to decimal or fractional odds.

The SBR odds converter will help you work out the equivalent odds. -315 = 1.32 decimal for example.

Thank you! So, tonight I want to bet like this:
ML -112 on the Oakland Athletics

So, in 5Dimes I would input a wager of 112?

If you input 100, it will automatically make your bet \$112 to win \$100
